Low Pitch, Vintage, Silver Plated. Is previously owned and is a great display instrument but is in need of restoration to played properly. There is heavy tarnish and wear on the saxophone body. Pads and corks are in need of replacement. Case is heavily warn and partially deteriorating and smells musty from extended storage. Instrument includes case, neck, and two mouthpieces. Vintage Original Silver Plate Selmer Paris New Large Bore Super Alto, Serial #13689. This is a vintage Selmer Paris New Large Bore Super alto sax in satin silver, serial number 13689. The body of the sax is in beautiful condition showing off the burnished silver finish around the bell deco as well as the keys. Its bell flare also show cases a lovely gold wash. The body of the alto is about as nice as it gets with no history of major repair and no re-solders. Its bell, body tube, bow and bow cap are all in terrific shape. Its neck is also in excellent original condition and has never been pulled down. These early vintage Supers are fantastic free blowing players and tend to be warmer then the Balanced Action models that were made later. This one is currently playing down to a low Bb on older pads. If you are looking to do serious playing on the sax it will ultimately need to be re-padded. It is always a nice treat to find a silver Super in such nice condition. VINTAGE 1920’s SILVER PLATED BUESCHER ALTO SAX WITH CARRY CASE. I DO NOT BELIEVE THEY ARE ANY AVAILABLE T THE PUBLIC AT THIS TIME. PLEASE REFER TO ALL PICS. THIS IS OVER 100 YEARS OLD AND STILL PLAYS LIKE A CHARM. Silver plated, very good condition, in original felt case. I did not Polish it before picture taking but know once polished it will shine beautifully. This is estimated to be in the 1920’s to 30s. With any old instrument it would be normal procedure to have a professional look at this for a thorough cleaning and tune up. All other pads all appear to be in good to fair condition. As far as tuning it is as is. Although a Musician looked at it and played it as well as said it was a beautiful Horn. BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MY STORE AS I HAVE LOTS OF VERY UNIQUE ITEMS LISTED.
