This is a rare top of the range quality Bb Buescher vintage Professional quality metal clarinet that has been well looked after. A nice clean 1930 Bb Buescher True Tone 740 Silver Plated Metal Clarinet. I have very recently heard this Bb Buescher Clarinet played by a professional reed player and it has a nice full body tone throughout the 3+1/2 octave range from PP to FF. Excellent condition considering its age, no dings or damage, probably some light surface marks Some silver plate tarnishing on some of the more well used keys and an unusual bald patch of worn? Plating under the Bell. Engraving on the bell reads: THE BUESCHER ELKHART IND. Engraving on the body reads: TRUE TONE 740. Good clean mouthpiece unmarked with a good looking reed. The clarinet comes in its original case marked BUESCHER ELKHART IND. Green velvet lining, fair condition inside, outside a bit tatty with printed numbers, showing scuffs etc. And signs of wear but still useable. For sale is a rare silver-plated, freshly restored. 1943 Buescher Aristocrat Big B alto sax, serial number. This horn is in beautiful original silver plate, and was freshly overhauled. In the Saxquest repair shop. It has a brand new set of Prestini black kangaroo. Pads, which contrast beautifully with the silver horn, and has been precisely. Adjusted for easy-to-play action. It’s rare to find a Big B in silver. Plate (this is the only one Ive ever seen, and Ive owned several), as the. Vast majority are lacquer. The original silver plate is 99% intact. Minor finish wear on a few touch points and the neck is a bit worn. Previous repair they found is some past dent work in the bottom bow area. Are no other previous repairs, including no re-solders. All pads and material. Have been replaced, and the feel is smooth and comfortable. All of the original Buescher snap-in metal resonators, with new stainless steel. For sale here is a Nice little Buescher Alto sax in silver plate that has been recently serviced including replacing a few pads and cork, one spring, oiled and regulated. The corked key on the rear has been properly set to function so the cork in the pic has been removed. It plays great on the remaining older set of pads. It has the serial number 181275 with a production date around 1926 Buescher Tru-Tones. The sax has a very nice silver plate finish that was not polished during the last servicing. If someone has the time and the energy, they could certainly make this horn sparkle!! Included in the sale is what I believe is original Buescher case that needs a handle and maybe some TLC if someone intended to use the case for travel. Also included is a very nice vintage mouthpiece with lig and cap and a neck strap. I believe that the neck is original to the sax also. It is stamped with the number 1. This is an awesome Alto for anyone. Altos, C Tenors and Bb Tenors. This is a beautiful vintage Buescher. Plays like a dream and holds the sound quality youd expect from a True Tone. Refurbishment is not necessary as I saw to an overhaul a couple years ago. Pads are still in great condition. There is one spring on a side key which would need to be replaced, however, all of the other springs are either new or working perfectly. The Saxophone comes with the formed Protec Tenor Case, a Protec 10 reed hard case, a lightly used Neotech Neck Strap, and two mouth pieces listed below. The First Mouthpiece is a Sigmund Rascher Classical mouthpiece. This is a beautiful sounding Mouthpiece, traditionally used for classical or orchestral purposes. The second mouthpiece is a Macsax FJ III. It is a brass mouthpiece platted in Rhodium. Is is one of my favorite mouthpieces of all time. It is a jazz mouthpiece that has a lot of bright tones and can be very loud if you need it to be. Both mouthpieces have been sanitized and will be ready to play when you receive them. VINTAGE 1920’s SILVER PLATED BUESCHER ALTO SAX WITH CARRY CASE. I DO NOT BELIEVE THEY ARE ANY AVAILABLE T THE PUBLIC AT THIS TIME. PLEASE REFER TO ALL PICS. THIS IS OVER 100 YEARS OLD AND STILL PLAYS LIKE A CHARM. Silver plated, very good condition, in original felt case. I did not Polish it before picture taking but know once polished it will shine beautifully. This is estimated to be in the 1920’s to 30s. With any old instrument it would be normal procedure to have a professional look at this for a thorough cleaning and tune up. All other pads all appear to be in good to fair condition. Vintage Buescher Silver Plated Three-Valve Baritone Horn withStraight Bell

This is a working silver-plated baritone horn. The bell is stamped, The Buescher – Elkhart IND USA. The valves toggle pretty smoothly, but the third valve stem is different from the first two, and appears to be missing a button. There are various dents and scuffs in the body, and it could definitely use a good shine with a polish cloth, but none of the dents are too severe. We had one of our lesson teachers try it out with his large-shank trombone mouthpiece, and he said that it does indeed play. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive a mouthpiece or case with this instrument. Someone was cleaning out a University’s collection of instruments and left this in a scrap pile. Our former repair person rescued it and restored it to playing condition. We’ve displayed it on a wall for the past few years, but we’d love to have it go to a player somewhere. Rare Vintage 1929 Buescher Flugelhorn Excellent Condition, Original Silver Plate

Rare 1929 Buescher Flugelhorn s/n 2447XX, Outstanding condition with case. The bell inscription reads: The, Buescher, Elkhart, Ind. It also has very nice engraving of the school name that was done before the plating went on so it would have been done at the factory. It was a very wealthy district back in those days and they bought a whole fleet of Buescher instruments that were all custom engraved. The silver plating is in very good condition. Originally, there would have been gold wash within the engraved areas but most of it has worn off, just a hint remains. There are dings and nicks all over but nothing that would really qualify as a dent, except the 2nd slide has a patch with a dent in it. All the slides pull easily and the valves are smooth and fast. The pistons are solid nickel silver, not plated. They have the usual tarnish. The original case is in good condition and all the latches work. It has the brass Buescher badge on the outside. Has a (0.460) bore. The bell size is 5 7/8. Original silver plating , pictures show condition only minimal wear! Horn was recently cleaned with dawn dish soap. Valves have buttery smooth action and good compression. Slides have excellent movement and are air-tight. M atched up with an outstanding new 1.25 Flip Oaks (extra deep) Flugelhorn mouthpiece, easy upper register! Horn has a quick response and the mouthpiece provides a fluffy sweet mellow tone, (easy to get around on). Excellent intonation, and even scale without a trigger. Horn will be packed with extreme care to ensure no damage occurs inside the during transport. Soft foam with be used to cradle the horn inside the case. Vintage buescher soprano sax. This one is in OK condition, certainly seen better years. About 80% silver playing still in tact. It plays with the larger warm sound you would get from a buescher. Though it plays as is leak free, some pads are old and there are some tiny dings throughout, so you can run it through a shop to make sure it plays the best. Serial dates it to 1923, it’s Bechet’s number region. Comes with buescher case. More photos upon request.
