Camelot is a fictional castle and court associated with the legendary 12th Century King Arthur. Its symbolism carried into modern society. It was the 60s, and “Camelot” was American society’s theme, and was reflected in household furnishings and tableware. Drinking glasses were designed in medieval themes, heavy, with pedestals. Favored dinner plates were not delicate. In 1969, the silver plate flatware King Frederick pattern was introduced by International Silver in the 1847 Rogers Brothers brand. This pattern was its interpretation of Camelot in mid-century American table. From an estate flatware collection, a 49-piece vintage silver plate set of King Frederick flatware set has eight full place settings with nine serving pieces. This set’s design is bold. Most pieces have held a bright luster, with a few exceptions. Its casserole spoon is noticeably scratched more than other serving pieces, with all of the pieces scratched in degrees from usage. From the Lerner and Loewe musical “Camelot, ” Don’t let it be forgot, that once there was a spot, for one brief shining moment, that was known as Camelot. The King Frederick design is unique and distinctive, from an exact time in American history. THE PITCHER WOULD BEED TO BE ADDRESSED AS THE HINGE IS BROKEN AT TOP OF LID BUT DO STILL HAVE THE LID. THE PITCHER IS 11″ TALL, AT THE ROUNDEST IS 6″ ACROSS AND FROM HANDLE TO END OF SPOUT IS 10 WIDE. THE CREAMER IS 5″ X 5″ AT WIDEST. THE SUGAR DISH IS 5″ X 4″ AND THEN FROM HANDLE TO HANDLE IS 7. Vintage, silver plate, oval serving tray/ meat platter with well, King Francis by Reed and Barton. This is such a gorgeous piece. It has scroll, fruit and berry detailing all around the rim. Lovely addition to your table. Measurements:approx 19 1/4″ long x 13″ wide Marks: Reed And Barton 1674 King Francis. The tray is in good vintage condition. Has some visible scratches and cut marks as it is a meat tray, but looks better in person than in pictures as the camera picks up every flaw. Please Note:This listing is for the tray only. Here is a highly regarded and Vintage 1945-46 King? Trumpet, essentially the last year they were made? Having been around since the 1930? It is in the key of Bb/A, also featuring a highly engraved bell, the distinctive Art Deco? Its serial number is # 312863. By removing end piece of the first tuning slide, removing the middle section, then reinserting the end of the slide, you now have a? Originally founded by the. White Company was established in the late 1800? They subsequently created a new line of horns in the early – mid-1920? S naming it the? In 1965 the company was acquired by the. And the name changed to “King Musical Instruments”. Model was considered a Professional line of Trumpets and is still regarded in that mode today. It is beautiful, has a wonderful pitch, intonation and due to its construction? Can deliver a big Jazz sound! Some of the legends of Jazz used this horn, including Donald Byrd, Charlie Shavers? It was known to produce a very big vibrant tone! Further, as you can plainly see, this Trumpet has been re-done in every respect. Totally overhauled and superbly refinished. The process we use is as follows. Post inspection we thoroughly remediated any and all. Issues, including damaged parts that need repairing or replacement etc. It was put through it? S first of many? This is a process of intense cleaning, sanitizing, freeing stuck slides etc. ? Addressing literally every part of the interior of the instrument that normal cleaning cannot reach!
