Vintage Original Condition – EC Conn C Melody Saxophone #M152054 Pat. Serial number dates to 1925. Comes in original case. Has an embossed Flower Design on the front with Made by EC Conn, Elkhart, Ind. Looks really good, not going to call every bruise, but I do not see any major dents or dings at all. There is a portion of metal where the mouthpiece goes that has broken off (photo 2 & 4) I don’t see any other real issues. No actual mouthpiece is included and cork will need replaced I would imagine. Please see photos and make your own determinations as you definitely know more than me about it. Vintage Conn Wonder Alto Saxophone. This is a saxophone any comeback player, advancing student or professional player should cherish. It is in really good condition and has a great sound and nice response. Cosmetically is is also nice. There are no large dents or concerns. The plating does have a little tarnish but both the silver plating and gold wash bell makes this a horn you will feel so proud to take out of the case. The pads are in very good condition and it is in good playing condition. Minor adjustments might be desired to meet you personal touch preferences, however generally good playing condition. Included is a vintage hard rubber mouthpiece and a formed case that shows wear but is structurally sound. The saxophone was completely repadded in May 2021 using Italian Pisoni pads and quality materials. &####127927; Vintage Selmer Cigar Cutter Alto Saxophone &####127927;(SSS Selmer Super Sax) 1932. Up for sale is a Vintage Selmer Cigar Cutter Silver Plated Alto Saxophone from 1932 in good condition. Sax was just repaded and adjusted so it’s ready to play. The original silver plate is still at about 70% and it has no major dings but some small tiny dings in some parts. It has a little bit of wear on the low F and G# pearls but still work and feel fine on the fingers. It also seems the sax was made from a special order that came from the Selmer factory without the front F key. Will come in a Protec Case. A rare mid 1930’s’Revelation’ model 201 vintage Eb alto saxophone made by Holton of USA. These are wonderful, hand-made instruments – worthy competitors to Martin, Conn or Buescher – Holton was just not as well known for their saxes as their brass-winds. They have developed a growing following due to their quality and low price in comparison to better known vintage saxes. It has a number of attractive features for an instrument of this vintage: tune-able neck, bell keys on the same side, high F key and a G# trill, no forked Eb! It is silver-plated brass, and is in great condition for its age! Its been disassembled, cleaned, swedged and countersunk (to tighten the mechanism) posts aligned, tone holes leveled, rods trued, all new tan leather pads (with brown plastic resos) and key corks installed, reassembled and adjusted for optimal play-ability.
