This wonderfully unusual mid-Victorian wide band ring is set with three rows of genuine elephant hair and made of silver plated metal, with three retaining cross bars. This type of jewellery was brought back as souvenirs from their Grand Tours by the gentry of Europe during the high Victorian period. Very well made and beautifully cast lamps, the silver plating is of a very high standard, Ive seen few table lamps of this quality, they are also a great investment. They are wired with black 3 core cable which I have checked and works well. The on/off switch is built into the lamp and works perfectly. It is fully earthed so would pass a pat test. There is a slight variation in the top of the column between the two but this is negligible, see photos. Width:- 9.5cm X 9.5cm.
