Vintage Amston Fine Silver Plate 7 Pc Coffee Tea Service 2045 Raised Design RARE. Up for sale is a most unusual and gorgeous fine silver plate coffee/tea service by Amston Silver. Amston Silver made sterling and silver plate in Meriden CT. What makes this set so unusual is the Hand Chased raised designs around the pieces. All the pieces have 4 feet. Because of the extraordinary and difficult craftsmanship, one rarely sees these kinds of pieces. Although I polish to look for flaws, it can always use a bit more. 1 Coffee Pot with hinged lid 9″ tall, 5″ diameter. 1 Teapot with hinged lid 7.50″ tall, 5″ diameter. 1 Sugar Bowl with lid 4.50″ tall, 4″ diameter. 1 Creamer 5.50″ tall, 3.50″ diameter, 10 oz. 1 Waste Container 3″ tall, 4″ diameter. 1 Large Butler Tray 28″ handle to handle, 22.50″ x 16.50 the tray is the only pieces that is not in excellent condition. Please look at all the pictures below the listing. There may be many and often times the scrolling gallery only shows a few. The tea pot is attached to the base in the front with a hing and in the back with a pin. When the pin is displaced the tea pot can be lifted forward for pouring the tea. There are no monograms or dents and the silver plate is in good condition with no visible repairs. The burner looks to be original and fits properly.. There is no mark on the base of the tea pot to determine the maker or date of production. The question does not refer to how you feel about the post office rates but rather did I over charge you, the customer. All sales are final unless item is not as described by misrepresentation. These authentic items are an assortment of collectibles that we believe you will find interesting. This is a pocket edition safety razor kit from the 1920s in the Empire Design which is rare in this condition. The razor comes in a velvet-lined, Empire Design, repousse metal silver pocket edition case. The case lining is marked with a sewn-in Gillette label. The set comes with a Gillette three piece old type safety razor and an early Gillette razor blade metal case. The razor, handle, and its contents show little, if any, use and/or wear. The case interior is in excellent condition, even the velvet lining. The back of the case is stamped Gillette Safety Razor, Pocket Edition. All of the patents from the USA to Russia (14 in all) are shown from Nov. 15 1904 are shown. The back is further signed in scrip. The razors hinges and latch are in excellent condition. The front of the case is very decorative with a space for initials, which is unused. The case shows little use with no loss of plating. This is a great find for any razor collection.
