There are two sets of antique oval lidded silver plated metal vegetable serving bowls/ dishes. Beautiful English work of the late 19th, early 20th century style and taste, Louis XV Louis XVI Richly decorated with pearl friezes and acanthus leaves with a tinge of gold plate. The borders are with chiselled round motifs. Removable handle with pearl pattern allows the lid to be used as a second vegetable dish or other serving utensils. Maker’s marks show TW & Co engraved. One set is marked 1, second set marked 4. Also some kind of signature under the handle when handle is removed. These vegetable bowls are in very good condition, some signs of wear, some tarnish, some lack of silvering at bottom, no shocks, no deep scratches. Overall very good condition.
