Superb vintage Cooper Bros & Sons Cutlery Set / Canteen. Silver plated, sturdy, heavy pieces. Knife blades are stainless steel. Made in Sheffield, England by one of the best makers. 4 large serving spoons. 12 large dinner knives. 12 large dinner forks. 12 smaller knives – salad, starter, dessert. Salad, starter, dessert. All measurements are in photos. Very good used, small signs of wear such as fine surface scratches from previous use only. Silver plate is not worn off. Two dinner forks have been lost and replaced by a different design. The box has been worn, scratches, small dents etc. Range from fewer carbon emissions to saving water and reducing waste. Second-hand market reduces the need to manufacture a new item and thus saves resources. Thank you for being environment friendly. Parcels will be sent mostly by Hermes couriers. Can be collected in person from HA4 0LP, South Ruislip, London. Items must be collected within 7 days unless agreed otherwise. Dating only from the last century no makers mark but “rescued” from a country house sale this Silver plated Epergne Table Centrepiece would look great in any setting be it Traditional Victorian or Contemporary. Standing almost 17″ high on 3 claw feet the 3 main supporting pillars also have claw feet and are topped with 3 birds of prey wings outstretched and linked with metal chains, the epergne is 6″ (15cm) across at the top. I have left it unpolished as this is currently very popular with silver items, but it would polish up nicely- no areas of loss No dents, scratches, or other condition flaws.
