Magnificent WMF Silver Plated Cranberry Crystal Glass Epergne Centerpiece. Dated : 1886 – 1894. Weight : 2.240 Grams approximately. Here we have a magnificent 4 piece cranberry crystal glass epergne centrepiece, its in amazing condition with all for of the crystal glass epergne in perfect condition, no damage whatsoever. It was made by WMF between 1886 and before 1894, it does have a stamp on the epergne holders NS, nickel silver, with the main WMF stamp situated on the underside of the base. It displays wonderfully and definitely has the look, this piece was made before the Art Nouveau period, however with such designs, its obvious where art nouveau had its inspiration. It does dismantle easily, with its main classical style frame unscrews from the base, each epergne holder also has a screw in fitting to the main frame, its a very sturdy and substantial piece. Its beautifully made, very intricate workmanship on the main frame and base, an absolutely piece from the makers WMF. Height : 58cm or 23 inches. Width : 33cm or 13 inches. Base Diameter : 17cm or 6.7 inches. Weight : 2.240 Grams. No dents or dints or nasty scratches, there is a little discolouration on the underside of the base, but very minimal. All threads (screw fitting) are perfect and without any play, base is straight and true, no wobbles. The crystal glass Epergne are all perfect, no nibbles , chips or cracks, even the fitting stems are undamaged. Amazing condition, especially a piece thats 140 years old approx. Antique Silver Plated & Green Glass Epergne, Acanthus Leaf, James Deakin. A very fancy three arm epergne, decorated in acanthus leaves and hold 3 green glass vases that glow green under a UV light. Also marked EP and a pattern number 13964 1/3. Not perfect but very presentable. I have included a number of photos and these probably describe the item better than I can and form part of the description. Condition: In a good presentable condition although not perfect. There appears to be a lead soldered repair on the lower section of one of the arms. There is also a fixing bolt and nut missing from the bottom along with another missing nut and what looks like a replacement nut. This does not effect its use. The glass is in good condition free of chips and cracks. There may be the odd spot of wax on them. There is some blue tack in one of the glass holders and there is gaps between the glass and the holders on the two arms. Please also see photos. Size:26cm wide, 22cm high excluding glass. This is a used antique or vintage item. It has some wear to the inside of the trumpets – probably water and flowers have caused this. Also there are a few corners where some tarnish remains. I’ve not found any dings or misalignments. All this is shown in the photos. Vintage Vase Art Nouveau Silver-Plated Glass Centerpiece Epergne Large

This is a wonderful very large Epergne / decorative silver plated centerpiece bowl. It measures 10.5 inches tall x 14.5 inches diameter for the cut glass bowl. It has the 3 silver plated arms that “hold” up the bowl (altho really for decoration as the center support is what keeps the bowl in place). There is also a fabulous light catching faceted ball in the stem of the holder. The piece appears to be silver plated over brass as there is a gold tone to the item. I can not find any makers marks but it does appear to be from the mid 1900’s due to the style. I have been able to locate any quiet like it to have more information on it. It is so amazing with nothing in the bowl but works well for placing items like decorative balls or candles in it. I would place fresh flowers in another container and then set the container in the piece due to how it is constructed with a hole to attach the bowl to the base. I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can and to pass along fair prices. I take all my own pictures in my home and as such try and get all the colors as true to correct as possible. Epergne Winged Dragons Silver Plate Centerpiece Vase Lions Lizards Victorian Vtg

Exquisite Large and Impressive Antique Sheffield Silver Plate Epergne Centerpiece Vase featuring 4 Full Bodied Lions on the Base with each Reclining above a Mythical Winged Creature Foot. At the Juncture of Each Arm are 4 Winged Dragons. It is Topped with a Trumpet Vase Etched with Giant Lizards, Flying Fish, Bugs, Leaves, and Grasses. It was made by the very fine Sheffield Silversmiths John Round & Sons and dates to the Aesthetic Period from the 1870s through 1880s when the Aesthetic Period flourished in Britain. Signed on bottom: 1866 Around the World JR & S A and various other marks… Please see last photo. Measures: Overall Height with Trumpet Vase in place: 27 1/4. Silver plate Epergne without Trumpet Vase: 22″ high x 11″ wide x 11 deep. Trumpet Vase: 7 5/8″ high with an 6 7/8″ diameter. Length of Winged Dragons: 4. 4 Circular Areas for Bowls or Candles: 2 1/8 interior diameter. Excellent condition, however, it is missing its 4 bowls. The bowl spaces are perfect for small candles which could easily be used in their place to convert this into a candelabra. The tip of one winged dragon tail is missing which does not distract and was not noticed until we took close-up photos. Nuts to secure arms might be replacements, however, we are unsure. No chips or cracks to the glass. The Detail is Crisp as it has only been carefully polished by hand. It is very heavy and may require more than one box.
