Vintage 1971 King Silver Flair Professional Plated Trumpet with Original Case

Vintage King 1055 Silver Flair Professional Trumpet. This model trumpet is arguably the best trumpet King ever produced and is certainly an American classic. 462 bore allows for a free and easy blow. The sound is open with a medium dark lively sound. The valves have a great feel to them with strong compression in the chambers for a solid rich tone. Included is the original case which shows wear but is structurally sound. Cosmetically, this trumpet is in great condition and it is a trumpet you will feel proud to take out of the case. There is a very small indentation on the second slide (see last photo). The silver plating is excellent and there are no large dents, repairs or concerns. 1927 Vintage KING by H. Alto Sax in Restorable Condition or for Parts. This alto sax has been lightly cleaned and inspected. Repairing vintage horns are a little above my pay grade so here it is. In pic #9, many years ago, a tech soldered half of a right palm spatula key to the existing key. It works great, but doesn’t look so good. The other issue is the upper stack rod. This also functions great when it stays in. The head of the rod for tightening is gone. The rod can be pushed in, and the sax will function fine; the trick is keeping it in. There are no dents, just a couple very small dings, some scratches, and a plating blemish on the bow. I’d hate to see this one parted out, but that’s your call. It does have a light gold wash bell. Pads are old but functional and the springs do respond well. Included is original case and (most likely) the original “King A” mouthpiece. Feel free to ask any questions. Vintage Los Angles Benge Silver Plated Professional Trumpet. This is an American classic. It is a tweaked version of the original French Besson made by Zig Kanstul and his small band of professional craftsmen. The horn is lightweight and has an excellent feel in the hand. The sound is focused, rich and lively. The compression is strong and the valves are light. It will make a great player for any comeback player, advancing student or professional. Included is the original case which shows some wear but is structurally sound with working latches and a solid handle. The trumpet is in good cosmetic condition for its age. There is a little silver plating missing, most on the top caps, light surface scratches and pings but no large dents or concerns.
