Beautiful Original Vintage Hermes Pin Tray / Coaster Ravinet d’Enfert Equestrian / Horse Head A beautiful Hermes Paris horse head pin tray by Ravinet d’Enfert. This item is sometimes referred to as a bottle coaster, but if so used, will only take a 0.5l bottle of wine and not the standard size 0.75l. The tray has been polished and recoated so it is in spectacular condition – I would not be embarrassed to give this as a present to a close friend or family member. The tray measures a total of 16 cm, the height of the horse head is 5.5 cm, the diameter of the base is 10.2 cm and the inside diameter of the tray is 7.2 cm. The horse head is realistically modelled and is in my opinion one of Hermes’ most successful equestrian models. The item is fully signed on the underside. The photographs well represent the item. Vintage Hermes designer plated cedar lined box – a rectangular cigarette box with a gilt reindeer head mounted to the centre of the hinged lid, lined with a sectioned cedar lining – originally intended for cigarettes but perfect for cufflinks, trinkets, keys or as a coffee table box. Marked for Hermes Paris Made in France – total weight 670grms – overall dimensions 190mm length x 120mm width x 27mm height without head, 80mm height with head – c. Very good condition with very light surface scratches from normal use to the plate, some tarnish, could be further polished if so desired. Gilding still intact to reindeer head. Cedar lining in good condition with one small crack to top right of inner lid as pictured – lining is perfectly stable and does not affect intended use but mentioned for accuracy.
