1927 Vintage KING by H. Alto Sax in Restorable Condition or for Parts. This alto sax has been lightly cleaned and inspected. Repairing vintage horns are a little above my pay grade so here it is. In pic #9, many years ago, a tech soldered half of a right palm spatula key to the existing key. It works great, but doesn’t look so good. The other issue is the upper stack rod. This also functions great when it stays in. The head of the rod for tightening is gone. The rod can be pushed in, and the sax will function fine; the trick is keeping it in. There are no dents, just a couple very small dings, some scratches, and a plating blemish on the bow. I’d hate to see this one parted out, but that’s your call. It does have a light gold wash bell. Pads are old but functional and the springs do respond well. Included is original case and (most likely) the original “King A” mouthpiece. Feel free to ask any questions.
