Vintage Silver Plated Los Angeles Super Professional Trumpet. This is a trumpet any professional quality player or collector should enjoy. I acquired this trumpet in a trade with my brass tech who is also a professional trumpet player. I know the trumpet has been well maintained and I have enjoy playing it. At some point in the past the trumpet was replated. The plating for the most part is very good. There is a spot of missing plating on the inside of the bell. There also is a little solder on the brace (last photo). The trumpet looks very good. There are no large dents. It seems that the valves were also re-plated and re-fitted as well. They are original with matching serial numbers and have a great feel to them with strong compression. All slides are free and functional. The trumpet has a great warm rich colorful sound and I believe you will really enjoy this one. Included is a used but very nice lightweight deluxe case. VINTAGE 1920’s SILVER PLATED BUESCHER ALTO SAX WITH CARRY CASE. I DO NOT BELIEVE THEY ARE ANY AVAILABLE T THE PUBLIC AT THIS TIME. PLEASE REFER TO ALL PICS. THIS IS OVER 100 YEARS OLD AND STILL PLAYS LIKE A CHARM. Silver plated, very good condition, in original felt case. I did not Polish it before picture taking but know once polished it will shine beautifully. This is estimated to be in the 1920’s to 30s. With any old instrument it would be normal procedure to have a professional look at this for a thorough cleaning and tune up. All other pads all appear to be in good to fair condition. As far as tuning it is as is. Although a Musician looked at it and played it as well as said it was a beautiful Horn. BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MY STORE AS I HAVE LOTS OF VERY UNIQUE ITEMS LISTED. For consideration is a vintage FE Olds Ambassador cornet. The serial number, 139316, dates to 1954 and makes it an Los Angeles model. It is in nice condition overall, but does have general wear from past use. There are a few dings, as pictured, and the bell has a slight warp. No issues to affect play-ability. There are a few joints with messy solder spots, but they’re tight. The valves are in great condition, have minimal wear, and are ported nicely w/ new felts / corks; serial numbers match. The silver plating is in good condition, but has wear in the normal spots. The water-keys have new corks. The slides are free and compression is good. The horn has been chem cleaned and is gig ready. The original case is included and is functional, but has plenty of wear (and sticky residue on the exterior from past decals). The Olds “3” mouthpiece is not in great condition, but still has some life. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Rays Midbell Music Mission.
