Vintage Gerber Shorty Hunting / Fishing Knife Early Chrome Plated Version
Gerber Shorty Knife – Early Chrome Plated Version w/ High Speed Tool Steel. Early chrome plated Gerber Shorty in very good condition. Knife is in very nice shape, the only detraction is some chrome flake where the blade joins the handle. The blade edge is excellent, it looks like its never been sharpened. These older ones were made with High Speed Tool steel and they are known for taking and holding an extremely sharp edge! Circa 1950’s-60’s. Beautiful antique Meriden sliver plate humidor / cigar box. The item is featured with a hunting dog carrying a rabbit. The item is very rare and highly collectible. The lid sits nice and tight, and it is complete with the divider bar which holds the sponges. The lock appears in tact but missing the key. Stunning in its presentation this humidor would be the crown jewel for any cigar aficionado. Measures 7″ X 6.5″ X 6.5 including the height of the dog. Great patina I will leave it up to you to clean.
