Original Vintage Canteen of Cutlery Sheffield Silver Plate EPNS Art Deco 1930s / 1940s Attractive Typically Art Deco Design Oak Box Large 43-Piece Set. 1 Knife Sharpener Steel. Very good vintage condition. The silver plated items are all in good order – some wear as you would expect but nothing major and no plate loss or bends. The handles to the knives are all in good order and the collars are all secure. A little dark spotting to the edges of a few knives – again, nothing major. The oak box is very attractive and in excellent vintage condition – it will display very nicely indeed. The interior is nice and clean with a little wear. The silver plated items have been cleaned by hand with silver polish. The knives and large carving items are cream composite handles with stainless blades. All other items are silver plated. All silver plated items are punchmarked on the back. Teaspoons: Maple London – Triple Plate. All other items: Waring & Gillow A. Very nice design this is a full 61 piece set with some items never used. Complete in original oak box signed Mappin & Webb London Sheffield. Each piece marked Mappin & Webb Mappin plate.
