This is a great example of a. Wema Suisse early flat pusher 40s WW2 era Landeron Calibre 48 hand winding chronograph The watch is in excellent condition as serviced , its winding and working perfectly keeping excellent time , however the chronograph function is sticking when the back is on , I. The back may be a replacement or part of the movement is a replacement. The chronograph function works when the back is off, albeit a bit stiff , its running fine and resetting to zero as it should. If you put a deeper back on it will be fine , this does not detract from the beauty of this watch , the watch still winds and works. Keeping excellent time and is fine to wear , the chrono will work with a deeper back I have been enjoying it as is its a beautiful looking timepiece with nice flared larger lugs and military style hands. I believe the German army used these , it may be a possibility that the back was changed to get rid of the markings but I cannot say for sure. Its a very nice practical watch with wonderful patina, the dial features twin, or multi. For both “Tachymeter & “Telemeter scales. It looks stunning its 34mm across or 36mm with the crown and 40mm across the lugs it comes on a nice 17mm black band & w. Ould make a lovely early Christmas present or birthday gift , a simply wonderful timepiece. This watch is serviced & working very well with a very clean movement, viewing is fine (with prior arrangement) , as is collection. Here is a highly unique and Vintage 1929 King Silvertone Trumpet. It is in the key of Bb/C also featuring a highly engraved Sterling Silver bell and a. Its serial number is #113200. By removing end piece of the first tuning slide, removing the middle section, then reinserting the end of the slide, you now have a C Trumpet! Originally founded as the. White Company was established in the late 1800s. They subsequently created a new line of horns in the early to mid-1920s naming it the. In 1965 the company was acquired by the. And the name changed to “King Musical Instruments”. This Silvertone model was considered a Professional line of Trumpets and is still regarded in that mode today. It is beautiful, has a wonderful pitch, intonation and due to its big borecan deliver a big Jazz sound! Further, as you can plainly see, this Trumpet has been re-done in every respect. Totally overhauled and superbly refinished. The process we use is as follows. Post inspection we thoroughly remediated any and all. Issues, including damaged parts that need repairing or replacement etc. It was put through its first of three (3) Sonic cleaning baths. This is a process of intense cleaning, sanitizing, freeing stuck slides etc. Addressing literally every part of the interior of the instrument that normal cleaning cannot reach! Following these repairs, the horn was lightly buffed making the surface acceptance of its new finish, a given. Then it was put through its second Sonic cleaning bath. Then we apply a light cooper plating, followed by a completely new Silver plating. This Trumpet, for all practical purposes, is as good as new including a beautiful gold wash finish to the inner bell, new felts etc. Also of greatest importance is the fact that the valves on this Trumpet are, fast, tight and absolutely responsive in every range.
