Stunning Vintage Antique Art Deco Silver Plate Wall Sconces 17 Tall Rewired

Antique Art Deco Wall Sconces in Silver Plate. We love the wonderful Deco design and details cut back into the flash glass and frosted. They are even much more impressive in person! The silver plate is in very nice condition for age, please note in photos, it is not perfect, but has very light wear from age. Each of the panels of flash glass is holding securely and are leaded into the sconces. There is one panel with a small chip on it’s surface. Photo number three shows the chip close up and photo 4 shows it when lit up. The sconces have been rewired. Each sconce takes one candelabra base bulb up to 40 watts. You can use LED bulbs to receive more light from the sconces. MEASUREMENTS: Height- 17″ Width- 6 1/2″ Projection from wall- 4″ Glass Panels: each one is 10 1/2″ by 2 1/4 This pair of sconces is from the 1920’s and are in good antique condition. They do have some some old wall paint on the silver plate backs and some tiny little spots of paint on the fronts, tiny drips that rollers sprinkle out (shown in close up, last photo). Photo #11 shows where the sconce was originally braised together, it has a bit of blow through from heat. As shown in the more distant photos, this really does not show up. We just always want our buyers to know every detail prior to purchasing. One of the sconces has a larger hole on back, at some point someone cut it larger, it has been repaired and it is holding securely for hanging. PLEASE NOTE: Everything we sell is vintage. Dating only from the last century no makers mark but “rescued” from a country house sale this Silver plated Epergne Table Centrepiece would look great in any setting be it Traditional Victorian or Contemporary. This superb large and heavy piece features a rather plain design throughout, but is adorned with stunning floral and beaded detail to the twin handles, and a simple design to the rim. Condition is good overall, with the usual scratches to the top and base from use, and a couple of pin pricks to the silver. The piece is hallmarked Sterling 114 H, with the Fina hallmark worn off. Trays of this size in sterling silver are rarely offered, so don’t miss this opportunity. The tray measures in at a whopping 42.5cm (handle to handle) x 35cm (diameter). Exhibit a reflective mirror image, though is in a gorgeous state of shiny silver view all photos. Buffing could possibly restore the finish to a mirror image if desired. Though and nevertheless, a most attractive appearance in it’s present condition! The sugar bowl is the only piece that has 2 very minute dark spots to the interior base (see photo #8). Though possibly only needs a light scrub. There are light small outward dings. To both sides of the coffee’s (tallest pot) mid section (see photo #10), though really not overly noticeable. Light areas of tarnish within the intricate crevices to the exteriors of all pieces, though a lovely contrast. (If desired, these tarnished areas can be removed with additional light polishing). Light scuffs & scratches all around due to years of use & age. Overall, this Set is Deemed to be in “Good to Very Good Vintage Condition” for It’s Age.
