Vintage, Silver Soldered, serving tray from Hershey Country Club, by Victor Silver Co circa 1968. Built by Hersheys, the Hershey Country Club is located right near the Hershey’s Chocolate Company. This lovely tray is in good condition for its age and use. A wonderful piece to use, display or collect. Marks: Hershey Country Club Victor S Co 55 070 11 14 14 IN and 68 in a box indicating the date. Measurements: approx 14 diameter. This tray is in good vintage condition for it’s age and use. Show some expected signs of use such as light scratches, light wear, tiny dings and marks inherent to silver soldered items. Still very lovely and shiny. No other obvious damage that I can see. My pictures aren’t doctored to hide flaws so please use photos as part of the description. My items are antique and vintage. They have been loved through the years and most likely will show such. Description: This is an antique, about 1900, silverplated, lidded water serving pitcher by Tiffany & Company. Symbols on bottom: (Picture provided). The pattern’name’ is 3948. The 100 is the order number. The F is for the directorship at Tiffany when this was produced. The AGS symbol is the institution for which this was made, likely a high end club or hotel. The etched 467 is an in house catalogue/inventory number that cannot be traced nor does it impact value. Mostly likely used in a high end restaurant serving ware. Condition: The pitcher is in great condition considering its most likely use and age. There are no significant dents or scratches. It does have one noticeable mark provided in pictures. Please refer to pictures to determine condition. Piece does need polishing. One coat was applied but will need 2 to 3 for ultimate shine. APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS (in inches). I T E M S P E C I F I C S. A heavy, shiny, ornate, large oval platter from the masters… This is a vintage piece, from the estate of an elderly couple. Doesn’t show that clearly amid the shiny lake of silver around it. Condition is very nice structurally, but clearly this platter has been used a lot, as the light, and some not so light, scratches indicate (see pix). See close-up of tiffany stamp, pictured. This is a nice vintage Tiffany & Co. Silver soldered plated silver covered vegetable dish. In pretty nice shape as the pics show with some minor surface wear in need of a good polish and the lid is slightly off and it comes exactly as shown.
