This is for an absolutely lovely Wilcox / International Silver Silver plated tray. This vintage silverplated tea tray is very large with a highly decorated pierced edge, decorative floral decor, leaves, scrolls and ornate feet along with elaborate handles. This tray is marked with the makers name, Wilcox and International Silver and the pattern of A1383 and 22 inch on the back. The tray is large measuring: 28.5 inches wide (23 inches without the handles) x 17 inches deep x 1.5 inches tall. The size and wonderful construction of this piece does make it heavy and not a tray to be easily carried around, and more of a statement piece to hold a tea set, as a centerpiece for candles or on a coffee table to hold large decorative items. I would date this. To approx the 1940’s. The condition of this is so wonderful with no noted issues as has been well cared for through out the years. I feel the pictures don’t even do it justice! All items are vintage and if more then normal age appropriate use / condition issues – then it will shown in the listing / pictures. I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can and to pass along fair prices. I take all my own pictures in my home and as such try and get all the colors as true to correct as possible. Assume items are preloved and or vintage and such can have its own idiosyncrasies due to age alone and normal wear and tear. Remember vintage items have been used and will have small issues like surface scratches and age appropriate wear. I will show any major issues in my pictures as they are part of the description.
