An Absolutely Impressive Samovar Urn Indeed! 18 (CROWN SYMBOL) 83. FB ROGERS SILVER CO. SILVER PLATE OVER COPPER. SAMOVAR URN w/DISPENSER TAP HANDLED SPOUT. (NO BURNER POT INCLUDED). So shiny is this piece that it is most difficult to photograph without back drop images! This 15 1/2 inch tall samovar urn is most impressive in the embossed. Floral & scroll designs to the finial, handles, dispenser tap handled spout and legged feet. The spout tap handle manually tilts downward releasing flow of liquid contents from within. The urn (see photo #4), though does not position down completely by itself , therefore. Has to be held down slightly to manually expel the fluid from within this urn. The handles and finial shows some light wear, or just needs additional polishing. The interior has no corrosion or pitting, just areas stain to the base (see photo #8). Though can be scrubbed clean with a mild abrasive cleanser as Bon Ami. The underside of this samovar urn has not been polished and shows tarnish. Though if desired, can be polished, this area does not deter. From the outer facial appearance. There are a few shallow crack lines around the upper. Portion of the body neck (see photos #2 & #7), though quite faint and not overly noticeable. These minute cracks do not exhibit any cause of leakage. Just a light facial abstraction to the outer surface. There are no obvious dings or dents, nor signs plate loss to the body. There is no burner pot included, though a small shallow bowl/dish with a votive candle works great! Please keep in mind that this item is old and not perfect light scratches & scuffs due to years of use. As well as, a gorgeous large tilt pouring pot set shown in photo #12, that. Height (Top Lid Finial to Footed Base) is 15 1/2 Inches Width (Outer Handle Edges Across) is 11 Inches Depth (Widest Mid Body Section w/o Spout) is 6 1/2 Inches. With Spout (Spout Tip to Back Mid Section) is 8 1/2 Inches. The Base Inner Ring (for a burner pot) Measures 2 3/4 Inches in Diameter. Liquid Capacity is 2 Quarts 8 Ounces.
