Antique Silver-plated Samovar Vintage /hot water warmer / ornate Tall English

This is for a beautiful / wonderful condition. Circa early 1900’s. The wonderful body of the item sits on. It has both a working tap and burner. The shape is that of a large urn or vase which holds hot water or tea. The main body of the urn is of Classical design with urn finial and base. The piece has dramatic large raised handles with Prince of Wales feather design on them. This piece measure approx 12 3/4″ wide x 12″ deep x 22 3/4 in height. It is in good condition with no noticeable silver plate missing or scratches. The only issue was a pin sized leak on the spout which I had professionally fixed, please note the zoomed in picture. It does not leak and has a good flow of liquids from the spout. I have run it many times and tested the flow. I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can and to pass along fair prices. I take all my own pictures in my home and as such try and get all the colors as true to correct as possible. Please let me know if need any addition pictures or clarification on the pictures I have posted. The items in the pictures are the exact item you will be receiving, unless I have multiple of the same item and the quality will be the exact same as the ones pictured. I show any imperfections I can in the pictures. Assume items are preloved and or vintage and such can have its own idiosyncrasies due to age alone and normal wear and tear. VINTAGE-CHASED BARBOUR SP CO INTERNATIONAL SILVER CO. WATER PITCHER 2.5 Qt. The Vintage hollowware collection both plain and chased lines were put together by the back then just formed International Silver Co. By taking pieces as of a couple of their acquired companies already existing collected works some made as early as back in the1880’s, many pieces continued to be manufactured using their original trademarks and later on accompanied by the International Silver Co. Name, both the plain and chased collections grew and evolved to a more contemporary ones, these were totally discontinued in the early 50s.. And example of the above is the WATER PITCHER 10 2.5 Qt. All American made antique piece with a quality plate not often seen anymore featuring metal cast bunches of grapes figurine details all around its rim and pedestal base and a hand-chased grapevine theme all over its bolbous body adding to it. A very well taken care of estate piece in an excellent condition with a clean interior and a priceless aged patina enhancing its details. A Lovely Pouring Tilt Pot w/Stand & Burner Pot Indeed! SILVER PLATE OVER COPPER TILTING COFFEE/TEA/WATER BOILING KETTLE. W/FOOTED STAND & BURNER POT. Gorgeous Embossed Designs to the Kettle Pot & Stand! No Corrosion or Pitting to the Interior! No noticeable plate loss except to a small area on the kettle hinge (which exposes brass). And rim edges to the burner pot and top of the kettle pot (which exposes light copper). The interior surface of the kettle is clean though has a slight tinge of stain or tarnish (see photo #10). The burner pot with original cotton wick functions perfectly stem turns right/left. To lift inner stem (holding a cotton wick) to open and down to close. Gas fluid used can either be kerosene, which does have an odor, or another option is a “clear lamp oil”. There are two (2) manufacturers of this oil that I know of, one is “Medallion”. Possibly there are other manufacturers of this “clear lamp oil” available on the internet. Light scratches and scuffs due to all pieces in this set do to use and/or storage. This elegant silverplate urn is just right for a festive occasion. It has a stand that lets you tilt the pot and a burner to keep the water or coffee hot. The pot and base are in good used condition with no dents. There is one spot of plate loss near the handle as shown in the last photo. An Absolutely Impressive Samovar Urn Indeed! SILVER PLATE OVER COPPER. SAMOVAR URN w/DISPENSER TAP HANDLED SPOUT. So shiny is this piece that it is most difficult to photograph without back drop images! This 20 1/4 inch tall samovar urn is most impressive in the embossed. Floral & scroll designs to the finial, handle, dispenser tap handled spout and feet. Beautiful wasp bodied form/shape with ribbed sidings. A functional burner pot with wick is included (see photos #4 & #5), though not the original. Correlates beautifully with this urn. The spout tap handle easily lowers down. Releasing flow of liquid contents from within the urn (see photo #7), and lifts up with ease to stop. Flow of liquid – no leakage! The three 3 scrolled legs and finial. Shows some light wear, or just needs additional polishing. There is a patch of plate loss to. One side of the lid’s top surface (see photo #8). The interior has no corrosion or pitting. Just a very light coat of stain (see photo #9), though can be scrubbed clean with a. Mild abrasive cleanser as Bon Ami. The underside of this samovar urn has not been polished.
