Vintage Christofle fancy Silver Plate tipping Teapot with stand-NOTE handle
It measures 14 inches to the top of the knob on the cover and 17 inches with the handle straight up. All three pieces are marked: Christofle. The pot has the Christofle mark with a number 72 stamped. It looks to be silver plate & has not been polished. It’s missing the burner but this can be replaced. The top of the cover & the base are marked with a crest with three chickens. There are no cracks or dents. This is in pristine condition. PLEASE NOT THE CREAM COLORED HANDLE. Vintage Australian Classic Robur Silver Challenge Perfect Teapot & Sugar Bowl. A terrific matched pair and both genuine Robur Challenge silver plate! A’Perfect’ model teapot complete with infuser in excellent condition. Looks to be about a four cup capacity- its body is approx 15.5cm diameter total length 24cm. The teapots plating survives in good vintage condition with no exposed base metal whilst there’s s single ding to the underside of the pour spout- as shown in close up pics here however as you will also note from the pics, not at all apparent on general display. Will not affect pour or useage at all. The matching sugar bowl is also in great vintage shape with no dings and plating excellent. The bowl is 18.5cm across the handles diameter 12.5cm approx. Combined weight is 1.150 kilos. It will answer your FAQ’s far quicker than you can type a message and wait for a response from us – thats why it’s there! Vtg silver plate Mappin & Webb spirit kettle teapot Christopher Dresser style
Vintage silver plated spirit kettle made by Mappin & Webb in Christopher Dresser. The set is complete and functional. Great vintage condition, very clean inside. Some wear to silvering on the stand; few dents and dark residue on the burner; some scuffing and two small bumps on kettle; the stand wobbles slightly; the finial is chipped; one side of the kettle’s handle has wear to silvering. If you’re interested in vintage, particularly silver and silver plate – add me to your followed sellers and be the first to know when I list new items! All my silver and silverplated items have been given a quick polish with. Which are advertised as plating solutions. Whilst they wont silver plate your copper (contrary to what they may claim), I do recommend them for taking care of silver plated items in particular, as they wont strip off the thin silver layer, unlike silver cleaning products.
