This is a vintage Rogers Bros Starlight flatware set made of reinforced plate silverplate. The set includes 55 pieces and was made in the 1950s. It’s a serving set for 8. It needs a good cleaning. I have another listing for 7 matching teaspoons.

Treat your inner Downton Abbey aristocrat with this 5 pc, vintage, glimmering Towle Grand Duchess tea and coffee set that includes a coffee pot, tea pot, sugar bowl, creamer, and fabulous large oval Butler’s tray. The set is in sparkling good condition. There is a minor, shallow, 2 long, not really a dent, more like a waver in the tray, only visible in certain light (see pic). The coffee pot has a small dent on downward curve of base (see pic). There is some minor discoloring on the base of the interiors- could be removed with some more intense polishing with the right tool. Four-footed tray is 30.5″ long, 20″ and 3 tall and weighs 12 pounds. Coffee pot is 11.5″tall, 11.5″ wide. Tea pot is 10″ tall, 11″wide. Creamer is 5.5″ tall, 6″ wide. Sugar bowl is 8″ tall, and 8″ wide. The tray is stamped TOWLE E.

It is the “Shell & Scroll Webster Wilcox IS International Silver Co #2882″ and marked as such. The tray has a floral and swag design around the rim, handles and feet. It measures approximately 29 3/4″ handle to handle, 24 3/4″ without handles x 19 1/2 widest. Very good vintage condition, the silver plating is still strong (not showing copper), there are some minor scratches from use. Please look at the photos for further description. It is super smooth with a stunning wood grain design. This item was made by Crescent Silverplate in the United States. The bottom has round ball feet and is signed by Crescent Silver with their mark. This serving tray measures 12-3/4″ in diameter and stands 1-3/4″ tall. The weight of this tray without a box or packaging is 2 pounds and 2 ounces.
