Vintage Silver Plate Tea Set Coffee Service Set With Tilting Pot Birmi
Lovely, vintage, tea set with tilting pot from Birmingham Silver Co/ BSC. The set includes coffee pot, tilting teapot, sugar bowl, creamer and waste bowl. Each serving piece has scrolling leaves on the handles and feet, grapes and leaves around the middles of all the bodies (except for the tilting pot), bulbous shaped bodies, the tilting pot has very slight reticulation (see pic) and topped with grapes and leaves finials. The tilting pot comes with a working spirit burner. Beautiful, sturdy and heavy set. Tea/Coffee pot measure approx 11″ tall x 11″ wide, tilting pot 15″ tall on the stand (10″ tall not on the stand) x 10 wide handle to spout. Sugar bowl approx 8″ tall, creamer approx 6 1/2″ tall, waste bowl 5 tall. Marks: Makers mark for Birmingham Silver Co (crown with BSC) and silver on copper. This set appears to be in good vintage condition. May have signs of age and use such as light surface scratches, possible tarnish, tiny bruises. Insides are clean with light staining, if any. Stunning English Silver Plate Gallery Drinks Serving Butlers Tray 22.5 x 14.25
A magnificent vintage English silver plated (on copper) gallery tray. Perfect for serving afternoon tea or pre-dinner drinks – all you need is a butler to carry it into your elegant drawing room! Stunning shape with cut off corners and measuring 22.5 x14.25 inches. The pierced gallery rail has cutout grab handles at either end and the plateau is beautifully chased with a classic rococo pattern of scrolls and leaves surrounding a an inscribed central cartouche. The tray stands on four lovely wheatsheaf feet. Very solid and weighty. The Institution of Civil Engineers. Offered for sale in excellent vintage condition. It sits on 4 bun feet…. This is a lovely example that has obviously been very well cared for. Freshly cleaned and polished to a nice central inscription. Stamped on back silver plate on copper made in England.

Joseph Mappin founded the business in 1810 and traded as an engraver in Sheffield and London. Dating from the first part of the 20th Century. The back is stamped with the broad arrow and the initials H H. It has a fabulous timeworn patina. A period piece perfect for any collector or to use and enjoy. Tarnish and wear to surface. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior. This vintage silver plate tea service set by Wallace exudes sophistication with its ornate Baroque pattern and gorgeous tray. The set includes a coffee pot, tea pot, sugar bowl, and cream pitcher and tray to complete your classic table setting. Each serving item has floral motif around the rim, handles and feet and a sweet “magic pumpkin” style body. Experience timeless elegance with this exquisite tea set. Exquisite, silver plate, tea set with with tray, St. James by EG Webster/ International Silver This is a unique and tall set. Each piece has a pear shaped body, pedestal base, gadroon design around the rims and base with floral, leaves and shells on the spout, handles and finial. The tray has the same design on its rim and handles. A very stunning set! Measurements: Coffee/ tea pot approx 13″ tall x 10″ handle to spout. Sugar bowl 8″ tall x7″ wide handle to handle, Creamer 7″ tall x 6″ wide. Tray measures approx 27 1/4″ long handle to handle, 22″ without handles x 16 wide. Marks: EGW&S IS International Silver Co St. This set is in good vintage condition. May have standard signs of age and use such as slight surface scratches, possible small bruises/ tiny dings, polish residue. Insides look great, There is very light staining, if any. The tray may have a few flea bites on the face and some spots/ sticker residue on the underside. The tray does have some base metal/ copper showing through in a small areas of the face (see pic), but not very noticeable (much more noticeable in picture than in person) and doesn’t detract from its beauty.
