LARGE VINTAGE SILVER PLATE ON COPPER OVAL GALLERY TRAY, SHEFFIELD. A lovely vintage silver plated gallery tray. Large oval shape with integral handles. Highly decorative etched design to the tray. Gallery is slightly scalloped and pierced. Marked on the base “Sheffield England – Silver Plate on Copper”. Measures 18.25 inches long x 12 inches wide. Approx 2.75 inches high. Here we have a beautiful vintage silver plated gallery tray with clawed legs The tray is 7cm high. 26cm wide and 40cm long. There is a gallery rail all around the tray with pierced patterns topped with a gadrooned border. The gallery rail also has a wave effect. On the face of the tray are very elegant floral engraved patterns. The cartouche in the centre of the tray is clear. The tray stands on 4 clawed legs. A magnificent large silver plated gallery tray made by the top quality silversmiths Barker Ellis in Sheffield, England. It’s one of the largest of it’s type that I have seen measuring 22.5″ x 15″ and weighing over 3kg. The base of the tray is beautifully engraved with a scrolling pattern of flowers and leaves around a central cartouche. The pierced gallery has a gadrooned edge and cut out handles at either end. The tray is mounted on four bun feet. It’s marked underneath with the Barker Ellis menorah logo. The photos don’t really do justice to this super decorative item, you can’t appreciate the quality and feel of it. In excellent condition, there are no dents, the silver plate is very good with no wear. DIMENSIONS : 57.5cm x 39cm and 9cm deep. Please read the following. VINTAGE SQUARE SHAPE SILVER PLATE GALLERY DECANTER TRAY DOWNTON ABBEY STYLE. Probably used Originally as a tray to hold 4 decanters this is a nice heavy quality piece of silver plate dating from the early to middle part of the last century it is 10.5 (27cm) square and stands well on 4 splayed pad feet. The ornate cut rail rises 9cm to archways at each corner and in the centres of the rail, most importantly of all the central cartouche is clear and unused. Welcome to A ntiques & Moore! This listing is for a nice vintage English Silver Plated 15.5 serving tray with pierced gallery sides. The tray features an elaborate all-over engraved design with center cartouche for monogram (unused). Pierced side wall with gadroon embossed rim. The tray is in excellent condition with no noted damage to the body. The silver plating is in near perfect condition with very minor tiny black spotting in a couple of areas (see photos) – no other noted flaws. Measures 1 5/8″ high, 15 3/8″ wide and 10 1/4 deep.
