Gerber Shorty Knife – Early Chrome Plated Version w/ High Speed Tool Steel. Early chrome plated Gerber Shorty in very good condition. Knife is in very nice shape, the only detraction is some chrome flake where the blade joins the handle. The blade edge is excellent, it looks like its never been sharpened. These older ones were made with High Speed Tool steel and they are known for taking and holding an extremely sharp edge! Circa 1950’s-60’s.
