These pieces are all in very good condition, only needing a light polishing. Many pieces have engraved monogram “C”, but some have no monogram. They have the monogram unless mentioned. The following is what is included: 7 dinner forks with 1 no monogram, 4 dinner knives, 6 dessert/salad forks, 6 cream soup spoons, 6 seafood forks with no monograms, 11 teaspoons with 5 not having monogram, 8 iced teaspoons with no monogram, 3 individual butter knives with no monogram, 1 master butter knife, and 5 other serving pieces with no monogram the cake pie server, ladle, serving fork, sugar shell spoon, and lemon spoon. Vintage Danish Cohr Riberhus Silver Plate Cutlery Set 12 person Jacobsen

Vintage Danish Carl M Cohr Gense Riberhus Silver Plate Cutlery set for 12. Beautiful set is in very good condition. There are 12 hollow handle dinner knives, 12 hollow handle entree knives, 12 dinner forks, 12 entree forks, 12 dessert spoons, 12 Continental soup spoons or tablespoons, 12 teaspoons, a large serving fork, 2 small serving forks, large cake knife, a gravy/sauce ladle, a bottle opener, a salt spoon, a cake server and various serving spoons. There are 94 pieces. The entree knives are a rarity. The pieces are in the design called Riberhus and features a single flower design to the finial with further decorations to the handles and scrolls to the backs. Jacobsen designed the pattern in the 1930’s but due to the start of WW2 the drawings were stored and the pattern finally released in the 1950’s. It became a success and the pattern is still very popular today with its timeless design. The silver plated pieces are marked to the backs Cohr Atla and have the Danish silver plate quality torch mark used since 1932. Some of the knife blades are also marked for Cohr, others are marked Raadvad and all are marked stainless steel Denmark. The set would date to around the 1950’s. Cohr silver was one of the more highly regarded silver workshops in Denmark finally closing its doors in 1987. Along with a few other Corh patterns Gense now produces Riberhus cutlery. The silver plating to the pieces is bright, reflective and shiny. There is no flaking, corrosion, pitting or wear to the silver plating. Even the fork tines show no wear through to the plating. There are very fine scratches from use. The high quality of Cohr cutlery shows in the way this set presents after so many years. I find the plating on Danish cutlery far superior to most English and Australian sets of a similar era. This is a beautiful and stylish setting. The set weighs over 5 kilos. For Imperial measurement users a handy guide is 25mm or 2.5cm is a little less than 1 inch, so 100mm or 10cm is just less than 4 inches. Vintage Danish Carl Christensen Margit silver plate cutlery set. This stylish silver plated set is in very good condition. The pieces are marked to the backs CC in a crown for Carl C Christensen have the Danish quality torch mark used since 1932. The pieces are Danish and in the popular pattern called Margit. The set is for 6 people and comprises 6 faux bone handle dinner knives, 6 faux bone handled entree knives, 6 dinner forks, 6 entree/bread and butter forks, 6 tablespoons, 6 teaspoons, 3 small meat forks, 3 jam spoon and a gravy ladle. The knives are not original and have been added to complete the set. They are marked Paramount Made in Sheffield. All the pieces have fine scratches from use and storage. 38pce Vintage Danish silver plate Flatware Cutlery set Victoria Regent 6 person

Vintage Danish silver plate Victoria Regent cutlery set. This elegant set is in very good condition. This setting dates to around the 1950’s and is in a design called Regent. The pattern has three scallops running along the length of the handles. The ends of the pieces are finished in three pretty scallops across the ends. This is echoed just below the necks where the pattern ceases. The set is marked to the back with a Danish maker’s mark of. Some are also marked Regent for. To view pieces in this pattern please see below. The set comprises 6 dinner forks, 6 entree forks, 6 large continental soup spoons, 6 dessert spoons, 6 teaspoons, a jam spoon and a large serving spoon called a potato spoon. There are 38 pieces. There are 6 dinner knives with smooth glossy handles to complete the setting. The material used is made to look like horn and is made from a man made material. The knives are made in the Danish manner with a smooth ferrule and rounded ends. Although not original to the set these knives would have been similar to those used. All the pieces have fine scratches and scuff marks from use. There is a small amount of plating loss to the back of the tips of the fork tines as can be seen. There is no other silver plate loss. There is no corrosion and no spotting to the pieces. The set has been used but well cared for and the set presents nicely. The knives show no spotting or corrosion to the blades and the handles are sound with out any splitting. The set weighs over 1.5 kilos. The set will come wrapped in acid free tissue paper, padded with bubble wrap and packed in a box with void fill. SWID POWELL VENTURI CANDLE STICK SILVER PLATE MID CENTURY DANISH MODERN VINTAGE

Here is a vintage Swid Powell Venturi Silver plate candlestick. Made in Italy, stamped on the underside. This is a very cool mid-century piece that will make a strong statement in any household. Condition wise, the plated silver is in great shape. No pitting or tarnishing at all. There is some old candle wax residue on the inside that can easily be cleaned out. The base also seems to have come apart slightly at some point as well. Take a good look at the 4th picture. I did my best to capture it, but it is a pretty tight space. It looks to have been connected with some sort of adhesive, and that adhesive has lifted causing 2 out of the 4 legs to come apart just a little.
