Very nice truly vintage CONN VICTOR 5H silver plate trombone in it’s original case. Serial number GH570093; not positive but that might be 1955-56. The plating has tarnish. The bell is 8 and looks flush with no wrinkles. Spit valve is good and moves as it should, slide lock/latch is good and works as it should. Goes together well and the slide travels nicely; needs lube. The case is solid, appears to be original, works, the exterior looks good, and it has the CONN logo badge. The horn does have a couple of dents but not bad; the worst of which is on the tuning slide bend just below the CONN logo (pic #8). The tuning slide does move freely. I’m not a trombone expert but I have some experience; it appears to be a pretty nice horn to me. Not pictured but a CONN 12C mouthpiece which is period correct and likely original is included.
