A Beautiful Pot that has a nice classic look. Embossed in many places. Silver on Copper (Stamped on bottom of Pot). Base is not stamped. Pot holds about 7 cups of liquid. Pot is hinged with a tiny hole for steam outlet. Tilt Style Coffee Pot or Tea pot on Warmer Stand w Burner to keep Liquid Warm. Pot has little rods that sit on the stand. Pot has two black bands that are attached to the pot. A beautiful addition to any dining table. Approximate Measures: Total 15″ and Pot alone is 11.75 ” tall & Base : 7″ Tall and across the widest part is 6.5″ wide across x 6.5. Preowned Vintage Some Tarnish and some surface wear.. Sheridan Silverplated Elegant 25 Cup Vintage Serving Samovar/Coffee Urn With Burner. Measures 18 inches tall has gently used burner, and holds comfortablely 96 ounces liquid or you could say approx.. I cleaned polished this serving piece to the best of my ability. This piece does have some surface scratches from years of wear. Light surface scratches , Not as noticeable because it’s just so shiny. Inside of the coffee pot is reasonably clean and little to no staining. I didn’t find any dents on this item. The handle designed with a black band to resist heat going into the handle so you don’t burn yourself. The base of burner coffee urn has little holes for ventilation. The only area of the pot that is dirty is a course where candle burns under the urn. I have cleaned it but still has that burned look. The spout works perfectly, shuts off tightly No leaking, I tested it when completely full with liquid. Thank you for looking. This item is very heavy and will weigh I’m sure between 10 and 11 lb packaged. A Lovely Pouring Tilt Pot w/Stand & Burner Pot Indeed! SILVER PLATE OVER COPPER TILTING COFFEE/TEA/WATER BOILING KETTLE. W/FOOTED STAND & BURNER POT. Gorgeous Embossed Designs to the Kettle Pot & Stand! No Corrosion or Pitting to the Interior! No noticeable plate loss except to a small area on the kettle hinge (which exposes brass). And rim edges to the burner pot and top of the kettle pot (which exposes light copper). The interior surface of the kettle is clean though has a slight tinge of stain or tarnish (see photo #10). The burner pot with original cotton wick functions perfectly stem turns right/left. To lift inner stem (holding a cotton wick) to open and down to close. Gas fluid used can either be kerosene, which does have an odor, or another option is a “clear lamp oil”. There are two (2) manufacturers of this oil that I know of, one is “Medallion”. Possibly there are other manufacturers of this “clear lamp oil” available on the internet. Light scratches and scuffs due to all pieces in this set do to use and/or storage. Gorgeous Embossed Designs to the Kettle/Pot Spout & Stand! An impressive tilt pot indeed! No obvious plate loss or dings/dents to the. Tilt pot, stand or burner pot, nor are there any plate loss to the interior (only light stains/tarnish)! The burner pot with original cotton wick functions perfectly stem turns right/left. This elegant silverplate urn is just right for a festive occasion. It has a stand that lets you tilt the pot and a burner to keep the water or coffee hot. The pot and base are in good used condition with no dents. There is one spot of plate loss near the handle as shown in the last photo. The mark under the pot is a lion with P and S and something illegible as well as silver on copper. Measurements are: 9″ handle to spout and 17″ overall height including the stand. Weight of this Tilt Pot w/Stand Set is 5 Pounds 10 Ounces Much More Beautiful than these Photos Portray! Good Vintage Condition Overall!! Though a lovely set indeed, there are a couple of issues. There is a small part of the handle (to the back side) that has been repaired. The repair is practically. Perfect except for the visible crack line (see photos #1 through #4). This repair is sturdy as a peg was. Inserted along with a powerful adhesive glue (made to weld engine part together). Tested for strength, holds the weight of this pot with liquid perfectly! The base of the pot has a slight bend, and wobbles a bit, though not overly much. The interior is clean, though there are light stains that can be scrubbed away with a light. Abrasive cleanser as Bon Ami (highly recommended). There is a slight shading in the silver plating to the. Upper parts of the pot body and to the base of the stand, though not overly noticeable, and probably. Needs additional polish (see photo #7). The burner pot is fully functional, and has a new cotton wick. Light scratches & scuffs all around due to use, age, and/or polishing.
