A neat piece for American silverplate collectors it is a Epergne or a flower vase holder it was silver plated between 1886 to 1928 in Brooklyn NY. The very grand marks of castle, crown and prince-of-Wales feathers belongs to E. Webster and Son, of Brooklyn, New York, who were active from 1886 to 1928 under this name, though they continued on until the 1960s as “Webster-Wilcox”. I have a total of 5 pure silver vases, They have no markings but are thin and soft silver not plated that you see on it. They are chased with designs on the stems. The main part is plated and a lot of it has been polished off over the years might be a good candidate to get silver plated again. Or when it tarnishes again it will all match. The base is 5 1/2″ high with a 5″ base it is 8 high the way its photoed. The 5 silver vases weigh 3.8 oz. And base is 1 lbs 11 oz.
