47 piece sterling silver plate flatware. Marking says pat (patented) 1917- the year my grandparents bought them & set up their household. To left of pat 1917 are 3 very small hexagons & it looks like 899 inside them. Set includes 6 butter knives, 6 dinner forks, 8 teaspoons, 5 soup spoons (that have been recoated), 11 salad forks and 11 ice cream or dessert spoons. This is a beautiful large set from over one hundred years ago.
