A Continental Art Nouveau Silver Plated White Metal Card Tray. Cast in high relief with respective Oak and leaf and Laurel leaf and berry branch handles. Leunth 29cms, width 16.6. I know there that there is some cultural significance to the combination of oak and laurel leaves within germain communities. This is a common feature in German Churches. I cannot recall the shamanic reason for this but I know that it is within a deep seated cultural tradition. If anyone can refresh my memory please do so. I have been involved in the antiques business since 1971. My career took a leap forward when I joined Bonhams in 1976. Some five years later I became head of the Decorative Arts department. OLD SCHOOL BMX REDLINE 20 NICKEL PLATED FORKS. VINTAGE BMX RACING 1970s. Forks are in extremely good condition. They were originally red with the plastic type coating that Redline used instead of paint. Its still on the steer tube but comes of with your fingernail should you want to remove it. I dont think you will find a nicer pair outside of mint nos or refinished. The decals are original ones but do show some wear. Gents Vintage Accurist Art Deco Hexagonal Slim Gold Plated Wind Watch – Working. Condition – Great condition, minor surface scratching on case a few chips. Dial grear the odd mark, visable scratch near 6 o’clock. Plexi glass has been replaced. Tested and keeps good time, recently serviced by my local watch maker. Gender – Men’s. Features – beautiful hexagonal case. Country of manufacture – Swiss. Movement – Manual wind. Case Material – gold plated. Crown Approx – 34mm. Case size lug-to-lug – 31mm. Thickness – 7.3mm. Lug width – 18mm. Strap – vintage new old stock burgundy leather strap. I will not send to a country if there is not an option to send tracked, please check not to waste time. I personally change or refurbish crystals/domes and straps plus test the watches for efficiency unless specified in title and description. The pictures provided form part of the description and should be checked thoroughly. I do not service the watches, only refurbish. Efficiency of time keeping cannot be guaranteed, however item in working condition and keeps time to the best of my knowledge for 24 hours give or take a few minutes. Antique Art Deco Neiger Peking Glass and Marcasite Silver plate earrings, they measure almost 3 inches from the top of the hooks, they need to be cleaned, and Im not positive if it is silver plate over brass, and the hooks are a little askew, also as far as I know theyre all original, I havent changed or repaired or replaced anything on them, if there is anything done to them it was before I had them, and Ive had them so long I dont remember how long Ive had them, they look intact to me, they look absolutely fabulous on, a great pair from the past with years of life still in them, also Ive been made aware that theyre on the heavy side, besides jewelry from the early 1900s I also love Native American sterling earrings, having worn them for so many years Im not sure if Im a good indicator of what would be regarded as heavy, Ive worn them for hours on end and never felt discomfort, but Im guessing only because Ive built up a tolerance for heavy earrings, so Im going to say that they are on the heavy side, but in my opinion a great example of Neiger earrings.
