There is tarnish to the sterling silver in some areas of the fork, which does not affect wear. There are several dents to the sterling accent on the handle. Fully Signed WMF Dated 1895 -1902 according to the mark, N/S Nickel Silver, EP Electro Plated & f. A beautiful and rare collectable WMF Art Nouveau Silver Plated (best nickel silver) Oval shaped bonbon dish, marked with a combination of WMF symbols, WMF, N/S, EP f. Its design is Art Nouveau / Jugenstil with stunningly beautiful oval shape with very rare and unusual handles, each handle features an old man with a long beard (Father Time / Zeus I believe) very rare. The main body is decorated with precision pierced work and Art Nouveau / Jugenstil designs which look very stylish, the stand is circled with a wave pattern around the base, again very unusual. This piece has retained its original Cranberry Glass Insert liner, stunning light cranberry and without any nibbles or chips. This piece of WMF is of superior quality and condition, perfect style as you would expect from one of the best Metal ware companies in the world, WMF. Very little silver loss, if any at all. Beautiful WMF Lily of the Valley Silver Plated Art Nouveau Centre Piece/ Fruit Stand. Stamped Running Ostrich g, OX oxidised , 1/0 thickness of silver. Wonderful Display Piece, absolutely gleaming. A very beautiful WMF Art Nouveau silver plated centrepiece / Fruit Stand , dating around1903. Made by one of the best metalwork companies in the world WMF, Wurttembergische Metal Fabrik. This piece is absolutely beautiful the workmanship that was put into this piece is simply perfection. The edge of the centrepiece is trellis ribbons which incorporates both handles and entwined with Lily of the Valley flowers, leaf and stems. In the centre of the bowl with the continuing ribbon is a beautiful Celtic / Jugendstil floral display. Please check out the photos. The dish stands on a central oval column base which is very sturdy and minimalistic. The WMF mark is situated on the handle underside, very clear and well marked, Its the very early mark Running Ostrich g in the old style which indicates it was the one of the first registered Ostrich marks used, its also stamped with OX and 1/0. The underside of this piece is shiny and immaculately clean, its obviously been displayed as a cabinet /display piece as no way has this piece had much action, only polishing and care. The silver plating is fantastic without silver loss, no damage to the trellis work, plus its totally in line, no splits, No dents, no scratches, no rubbing of the silver. Its very rare to catch a piece in this condition. Maybe some very light polishing marks, and makers impression marks but nothing that would effect its beauty in anyway. Condition is exceptional condition. Its displays wonderfully, 120 years old and totally usable in todays world. Would look fantastic in any style home. A very stylish and quality piece from WMF. Oval Base Diameter: 14.3cm x 11.5cm. It was very difficult to take photos of this piece as the high shine caused reflections and distortion, any patches are purely reflection. Beautiful WMF Art Nouveau Best Nickel Silver Plated, Green Diamond Cut Crystal Glass Biscuit Barrel. Fully Stamped, WMFN, EP, NS, 1/0. Here we have a very nice Art Nouveau best nickel Silver plated Biscuit Barrel with beautiful green diamond cut crystal glass with a diamond star burst cut into the base. The barrel has a swing handle which is very sturdy and the metal fittings, lid, finial and collar are all best nickel silver plated. The full set of WMF marks are on the collar of the Barrel plus a further set of WMF marks are stamped on handle. Its a very substantial piece weighing 845 Grams, wonderful quality and superior craftsmanship as you would expect from one of the best metal companies in the World, WMF. Excellent condition very little silver lose if any, no dents or dints in the metal work and no scratches (Maybe some very light swirl marks). The crystal cut glass has no cracks or chips or scratches on the facial side or inside. The underneath contact side of the base has some very fine marks, obviously from the surface it was used on stored. This piece of WMF is 135 years old approximately and is in wonderful condition. A Continental Art Nouveau Silver Plated White Metal Card Tray. Cast in high relief with respective Oak and leaf and Laurel leaf and berry branch handles. Leunth 29cms, width 16.6. I know there that there is some cultural significance to the combination of oak and laurel leaves within germain communities. This is a common feature in German Churches. I cannot recall the shamanic reason for this but I know that it is within a deep seated cultural tradition. If anyone can refresh my memory please do so. I have been involved in the antiques business since 1971. My career took a leap forward when I joined Bonhams in 1976. Some five years later I became head of the Decorative Arts department. Magnificent WMF Art Nouveau Silver plated & Emerald Crystal Glass Fruit Stand Centrepiece. Fully Hallmarked, Running Ostrich (On Base). Here we have a very rare and exceptional WMF Art Nouveau, Silver plated fruit stand centrepiece complimented with a beautiful Emerald green cut crystal bowl. The crystal has four x three panel columns cut into the crystal (similar to Art Deco Odean pillars) plus three cut lines going around the bowl, absolutely beautiful and stylish, great craftsmanship. The base stands on four sculpted legs and a stunning fine embossed boarder which is beautifully crafted as you would expect from one of the worlds finest metalware companies, WMF. A very rare and usable beautiful antique in exceptional condition. 110 Years of age and would suit any interior style and looks stylish and wonderful. Height of Centrepiece : 26cm. Vintage Vase Art Nouveau Silver-Plated Glass Centerpiece Epergne Large

This is a wonderful very large Epergne / decorative silver plated centerpiece bowl. It measures 10.5 inches tall x 14.5 inches diameter for the cut glass bowl. It has the 3 silver plated arms that “hold” up the bowl (altho really for decoration as the center support is what keeps the bowl in place). There is also a fabulous light catching faceted ball in the stem of the holder. The piece appears to be silver plated over brass as there is a gold tone to the item. I can not find any makers marks but it does appear to be from the mid 1900’s due to the style. I have been able to locate any quiet like it to have more information on it. It is so amazing with nothing in the bowl but works well for placing items like decorative balls or candles in it. I would place fresh flowers in another container and then set the container in the piece due to how it is constructed with a hole to attach the bowl to the base. I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can and to pass along fair prices. I take all my own pictures in my home and as such try and get all the colors as true to correct as possible.
