Vintage Amston Fine Silver Plate 7 Pc Coffee Tea Service 2045 Raised Design RARE. Up for sale is a most unusual and gorgeous fine silver plate coffee/tea service by Amston Silver. Amston Silver made sterling and silver plate in Meriden CT. What makes this set so unusual is the Hand Chased raised designs around the pieces. All the pieces have 4 feet. Because of the extraordinary and difficult craftsmanship, one rarely sees these kinds of pieces. Although I polish to look for flaws, it can always use a bit more. 1 Coffee Pot with hinged lid 9″ tall, 5″ diameter. 1 Teapot with hinged lid 7.50″ tall, 5″ diameter. 1 Sugar Bowl with lid 4.50″ tall, 4″ diameter. 1 Creamer 5.50″ tall, 3.50″ diameter, 10 oz. 1 Waste Container 3″ tall, 4″ diameter. 1 Large Butler Tray 28″ handle to handle, 22.50″ x 16.50 the tray is the only pieces that is not in excellent condition. It has some silver loss. We do our best to describe each item, but we are not experts. We do not know the history of most items but will always tell you all that we do know. Complete 15 Piece Silver Plate Punch Bowl Set-Vintage Pattern
A complete set of Vintage pattern punch bowl, platter, ladle and 12 cups. Silver plate by International Silver Company. Each and every piece is marked w the maker’s name and the pattern name: VINTAGE. This grape pattern is very collectable and sought after. This is the perfect match for the flatware collector. The punch bowl is 13 inches in diameter and 9 inches high. The platter is quite large at 22 inches in diameter. The twelve cups are 3 1/4 inches high and 3 inches in diameter.. The ladle is approx 14 inches in length This lovely set has been in our family for about 40 years as of this Christmas. Just time to downsize. This is truely a hard to come by treasure Condition is quite good. Surface scratches commensurate w age and use. No dents or dings. Ready for your Christmas gathering. This is a Vintage Silver Plate Entree Casserole Serving Dish. Two in One because the Top Converts to a Second Serving Dish. An old Z, Barraclough & Sons Silversmiths Leeds. Handle removes from the top so it can become the second serving dish. Hallmarks are located in several locations. [see photo closeups] #8698 TB&S within a shield. Stunning Georgian Style Large & Very heavy Silver Entree Dish & Lid. Made by Z Barraclough & Sons. We think maybe made at the end of the Victorian period to Early 20th Century. The Entree has the benefit of being un-monogrammed and free from personalisation. This Entree has a beautiful and desirable rope boarding finishing to outside of both lid and dish and also carries through to the inside of the lid. The rope effect also continues through to the handle which is in a beautiful Georgian style finishing design. Has hallmarks stamped to base, and numbers on the lid and handle. Vintage W Mf Ikora Germany Silver 2 Level Serving Tray
VINTAGE W MF IKORA GERMANY SILVER 2 LEVEL SERVING TRAY. VINTAGE, IKORA, MADE IN GERMANY 2 DISH SERVING TRAY, ATTACHED, CAN BE SEPARATED BY UNSCREWING FROM THE BOTTOM, MARKED ON THE BOTTOM W MF, IKORA SILVER PLATED, GERMANY. Here is some information on the maker. Fancy vintage WMF Ikora silverplate on copper dishes with openwork rims. WMF was a German company that started producing in the 1880s in Geislingen, Germany and continues to create kitchenware and flatware today, although many of today’s items are stainless rather than silverplate. The fancier of the two dishes is footed and measures 5 3/4″ across and 1 1/2″ high and shows some wear to the silverplate. The flatter of the two has a triangular design around the rim and measures 5 7/8 across. This piece still bears the full WMF Ikora label, which has the number 9017 printed on the label. Both pieces have the WMF backstamp and are marked WMF Ikora Germany Silverplate. Fine pieces for your. NO DENTS, DARKER COLOR. APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENT: THE LARGE PLATE 7.75″ DIAMETER X 1.5″ DEEP.
