This is an extremely rare vintage of King valve trombones. 13500 serial number places it right at the turn of the century. Other than some tarnish on the silver plate personal aesthetic, polish it if you want… , this horn is in near perfect condition. We cant find a single dent anywhere on the horn, valves move like butter, all slides are greased and move free. This magic horn is going to make someone very happy! Vintage Antique CG Conn Ltd Model 44H Trombone Instrument Silver plate & Brass

Nice vintage/antique CG Conn trombone. It needs a spot weld as shown in the last photo. There are a few dents. The model appears to be 44H and the serial number is 294988. It needs a good cleaning and polishing. It looks to be made of mixed materials. Silver plated and brass possibly? The horn measures approximately 7 in diameter. Vintage CG CONN LTD VICTOR rare 5H trombone silver plate, original case GOOD

Very nice truly vintage CONN VICTOR 5H silver plate trombone in it’s original case. Serial number GH570093; not positive but that might be 1955-56. The plating has tarnish. The bell is 8 and looks flush with no wrinkles. Spit valve is good and moves as it should, slide lock/latch is good and works as it should. Goes together well and the slide travels nicely; needs lube. The case is solid, appears to be original, works, the exterior looks good, and it has the CONN logo badge. The horn does have a couple of dents but not bad; the worst of which is on the tuning slide bend just below the CONN logo (pic #8). The tuning slide does move freely. I’m not a trombone expert but I have some experience; it appears to be a pretty nice horn to me. Not pictured but a CONN 12C mouthpiece which is period correct and likely original is included. Here we have a vintage silver F attachment trigger trombone US model. The finish is still in overall good shape, but does have a few places the finish is missing. Mouthpiece: Yes, HN White M-21. Case : Yes, original HN White made French style case. King Liberty Model No. 2B Trombone has crystal silver outside tube and sleeve. Inside slide is made of crystal silver surface hardened, with piston drawn on one slide with new perfected bore, improving the open tones in the closed position of slide. End bow is expanded to fit outside slide thus elimination connecting ferrules and reducing the weight and end of slide, making only two soldered joints in place of four. This new construction has eight less soft soldered joints.. It looks neater and is a beautiful piece of workmanship. RARE-Vintage F. Millard TROMBONE (C. G. CONN) Small Bore Silver plate

This trombone is a trombone collectors dream. For beginner, professional or collector it is definitely a great horn for the period and very rare with a great history. Union Army in the 1860s. The company went through a number of relative in charge changes over the years. A Master repairman has completely dis-assembled, cleaned and adjusted the instrument for optimum playing. The tuning and main slide moves freely, and it plays well. The specifications and description of the instrument are. Silver plated with a more goldfish tint inside the bell. Bell engraving says MADE BY MILLARD Detroit -Mich. On shank is Serial #451848. On slide L P means low Pitch A=438 Serial #151308. On mpc received a #1. On the side of slide #1. On bell reciever a #4. The bell measures 7 in diameter. 465 (11.88 MM). The MPC that came with the horn is a Conn 2, and someone used a jewelers saw to cut the end of the mpc so the end could be squeezed smaller I assume to get into the mouthpiece receiver further to bring up to A=440 [the standard pitch today]. The tube size on the slide side is. 562 (or 14.22mm) and on the bell side. 818 (or 20.56mm). One of the Professional trombonist I sent the specs to thought it might have been manufactured by C.
