The First Love silverplate pattern was first introduced in 1937 by 1847 Rogers Brothers International Silver Company. Included in this set are the following pieces. 12 Dinner Knives 9 ¼ long (all have stainless steel blades). 12 Dinner Forks 7 ¾ long. 12 Salad Forks 7 long. 12 Round Gumbo Soup Spoons 7 long. 24 Teaspoons 6 ¼ long. 1 Master Butter Knife 6 ¾ long. 1 Sugar Spoon – 6 long. 2 Serving Spoons 8 ½ long. 1 Relish/Bonbon/Nut Spoon 6 long. Authentic 1847 Rogers Bros Chest. This set is in very good condition still shiny and lovely. Each piece is as I found it at an estate sale. Some pieces have tarnish. There are no bent or dented or pitted tines/blades/handles/bowls. The chest is approximately 17 x 11 ½ x. Accommodates this set very well. There are some scuffed areas on the outside of the chest. But it is still solid. The interior of the chest also shows some use/wear. The material lining the bottom of the chest is a lovely wine colored felt. There is also a smaller sticker in right rear corner of the chest bottom that says is Tarnish Resisting Chest Tested and Approved by the Laboratories of the International Silver Company. The lid is lined halfway with the same wine colored felt. Above that is off white. Embossed on that is a sign that says 1847 Rogers Bros For Over 100 Years – Americas Finest Silverplate. It takes time but I carefully wrap/package the silverplate and chest so it will arrive safely. I do not use rubber bands to wrap the silverware; there is a chemical used in the processing of rubber that actually burns the silverplate. Silverplate is heavy, especially a set with a silver chest included. Please include your zip code with your request.
