This superb large and heavy piece features a rather plain design throughout, but is adorned with stunning floral and beaded detail to the twin handles, and a simple design to the rim. Condition is good overall, with the usual scratches to the top and base from use, and a couple of pin pricks to the silver. The piece is hallmarked Sterling 114 H, with the Fina hallmark worn off. A VINTAGE MAGNIFICENT ROUND FRENCH TRAY SOLID IN THE FINEST (ELECTROPLATING) SILVER PLATING. BEAUTIFULLY MOLDED IN THREE GENTLE LAYERS AROUND UP TO THE BORDER WITH A NICE DECORATIVE EDGE. IT HAS BEEN KEPT VERY WELL AND SAME OWNER. THERE ARE GENTLE GRADING LAYERS IN AND AROUND THE HEAVY SHAPED SCALLOP SHAPING AROUND THE BORDER. MEASURES : 13 7/8 ROUND.
