Large vintage English silver plated serving tray by Parkin & Co, Sheffield. Condition: Light copper bleed to the chased pattern of the bed. Aside from that, the silver plate is in good order. No dings, dents or bends. It stands balanced, firm and true with no wobble and all aspects are sound and secure. It has been cleaned and hand-polished and is ready to use. Impressed to the base. Overall length – handle to handle: 58cm. Body (excluding handles): 46.5cm x 35cm. Bed (flat, usable space): 39cm x 27.5cm. This listing is for a set of six vintage compote/dessert bowls. They look like large cup champagne, flutes, but best used for dessert, I think. Silver plated with a gold plate inside the bowl. There is a bit of plating in areas of the bowl that is worn off. In my opinion, it does not detract from the beauty of these dessert dishes. It is just normal wear with the age. They are 6 inches high and the bowl 4.5 inches in diameter. Please feel free to ask any questions.

Webster Wilcox Silver Plate Serving Tray, Ornate with engraved floral center, pierced sides and flora grape vine edge trim. Gorgeous tray of fine quality and heavy weight. Measures 15-1/2″square x 1″high. It’s in very good antique condition showing only one dark speck that didn’t polish out (see last photo). Also several very minor/light surface marks, normal signs of prior use. NO loss of silver plating, deep scratches or dings. Recently polished, bright and shiny. From my personal collection. Vintage Set, hard to find. I got them from the factory store direct. These are all in excellent condition. I used two of them a couple of times, and the other two sat sealed in their boxes. I only took the unopened ones out of their original boxes to photograph. There is some tarnishing to be expected, I gave the two opened ones a very brief cleaning. The holders come in their original boxes with the instructions/details in Russian. I do not know if the Mstyora factory is still active. This beautiful set should go to someone who will enjoy it. Many cultures drink their tea/coffee this way, I was first introduced to the custom in Morocco many years ago – they served a wonderful hot sweet mint tea in this type of glass and holder. Russia and Ukraine both drink their tea this way on occasion. It is very welcoming and the set would make a nice gift. Please see photos and decide for yourself.
