Vintage Sheffield Silver Plate Hand Chased Punch Bowl & 12 Cup Set. Presented is a gorgeous, English silver plated punch bowl and 12 cup set made in Sheffield around the mid 20th century. The bowl is exceptionally large and will hold at least 2 gallons of liquid. All of the pieces are hand engraved/chased with design and the punch bowl has a beautiful applied rim. The pieces are a reproduction of an old, classical style. The pieces have a good weight and are silver plated on copper. The underside of each piece is marked for silver plate and Sheffield. This whole set is in excellent condition. There is some very minor surface wear to the inside of the punch bowl where a ladle would have scraped up against it, but this is totally covered when the piece has liquid in it. There are no damages and no repairs. The punch bowl measures 13 3/4 inches in diameter and is 9 1/2 inches tall. Each cup measures 3 5/8 inches in diameter and is 3 inches tall.
