Description: This is an antique, about 1900, silverplated, lidded water serving pitcher by Tiffany & Company. Symbols on bottom: (Picture provided). The pattern’name’ is 3948. The 100 is the order number. The F is for the directorship at Tiffany when this was produced. The AGS symbol is the institution for which this was made, likely a high end club or hotel. The etched 467 is an in house catalogue/inventory number that cannot be traced nor does it impact value. Mostly likely used in a high end restaurant serving ware. Condition: The pitcher is in great condition considering its most likely use and age. There are no significant dents or scratches. It does have one noticeable mark provided in pictures. Please refer to pictures to determine condition. Piece does need polishing. One coat was applied but will need 2 to 3 for ultimate shine. APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS (in inches). VINTAGE-CHASED BARBOUR SP CO INTERNATIONAL SILVER CO. WATER PITCHER 2.5 Qt. The Vintage hollowware collection both plain and chased lines were put together by the back then just formed International Silver Co. By taking pieces as of a couple of their acquired companies already existing collected works some made as early as back in the1880’s, many pieces continued to be manufactured using their original trademarks and later on accompanied by the International Silver Co. Name, both the plain and chased collections grew and evolved to a more contemporary ones, these were totally discontinued in the early 50s.. And example of the above is the WATER PITCHER 10 2.5 Qt. All American made antique piece with a quality plate not often seen anymore featuring metal cast bunches of grapes figurine details all around its rim and pedestal base and a hand-chased grapevine theme all over its bolbous body adding to it. A very well taken care of estate piece in an excellent condition with a clean interior and a priceless aged patina enhancing its details. ANTIQUE REED & BARTON SILVER PLATED COFFEE POT URN PITCHER PATENT 1872 VINTAGE. This antique silver plated Reed & Barton coffee pitcher is used and has some wear. It is clean and in nice shape. The silver plate has some wear and hasnt been polished. There is a dent that is about 1 inch on the back and a small dent underneath that. Ive taken a detailed photo of it. There are also two dents towards the bottom of the pitcher on the side. The pitcher sits in the base and tips forward to pour. It does sit a little bit off centered. I added a detailed photo of that s well. The insert looks to be porcelain and is in nice shape. It is also marked on the bottom. The lid of the pitcher screws on and also flips open once its secured. There is a goose or a swan on top of the lid and there is another larger bird on the back handle. There are also two bearded faces on either side of the pitcher. The base is marked and has the number 1612 with a large makers mark with a large G with a bee in the middle and an eye on top and a sun below. The pitcher is also marked. It has 1619 on it and has multiple patent dated listed. They are April 6, 1858, August 4, 1868, November 17 1868, and April 6th 1872. It also says Extended 7 Years. A vintage pair of modernist Mexican Sterling silver clip earrings with concave centers. The approximate dimensions of each earring are 1 1/8 in diameter. Total weigh is 19.5 grams/. Some minor surface scratches. The clips are in good working order. Marked on the backs. 925 STERLING and marker’s mark TR-43. A vintage Los Castillos silver plate pitcher with stone inlay (most likely green turquoise) of bird and flower. There is also inlay stone on the handle. There are scratches and dings to all sides, the rim is dinged, there is a chip to the stone on the handle, there is tarnish. The approximate measurements are: 5.5″h x 6″w.
