The watch has a repainted black dial with gold baton markers which is fitted to stunning original Omega bracelet. The highly reliable automatic 562 Calibre movement has recently been serviced. Omega Cosmic Vintage Rose Gold Plated Ref. 2486-2 Mens Jumbo 37mm Dress Watch

For your consideration is a extremely rare rose gold plated 37mm Omega Cosmic triple calendar moonphase dress watch. No box or papers. This dial has been previously nicely refinished perhaps decades ago with original pink gold Arabic number indexes, blue outer calendar track, and aperture for the moonphase. Beautiful original hands compliment. The aperture for the day of week and month is in the Portuguese language. The case original in polished 80 microns 18K pink gold plating with new replacement acrylic crystal (the older crystal was cracked and heavily scratched), original Omega crown and snap pressure case back. There is wear and use throughout the case from over 70 years of use. Mostly on the lugs we see some knocks and scratches. The case measures a large 37mm size. This is the largest of the Cosmic models. All the pushers for the calendar system are original and work properly. The case is complimented by a black French crocodile style leather strap and gold tone buckle. The band is beautiful and of high grade quality. The movement is a high grade Omega cal. 27 DL PC 17 jewel manual wind triple calendar moonphase movement. This movement was just recently serviced by us and is working beautifully. This excellent condition vintage Seiko is a true collectable. The gold on gold theme is striking with a starburst dial, raised Seiko logo, raised indices, gold-framed day/date window and polished gold hands. The pictures are good bit really don’t capture just how good this piece is. Push button day setting. Crown step 1 date setting. Fitted with a brand new metal stretch bracelet to fit up to 190mm wrist. Fits my 180mm wrist neatly. With just light marking on the Seiko goldplated case, this watch is a vintage classic.
