IMPRESSIVE EPERGNE CENTERPIECE – ALL ORIGINAL GLASS. For sale is an impressive vintage silver plate Epergne centerpiece Tazza with all 5 original. Bowls made by Israel Freeman & Son Ltd. The dimensions and details are as follows. EPERGNE – 8-3/4″ high by 21-1/2″ across by 6-1/2 footed base. EPERGNE AND BOWLS – 11-3/4″ high by 23-1/2″ across. TOTAL WEIGHT – around 19 Lbs. This Epergne is a classic Georgian design with lots of gadrooned edges; the square base has. The base has the hallmark for Israel Freeman & Son Ltd. Their mark and MADE IN. Note the arms are easily removed so that any combination (2 or 4) can be used. Or, remove all 4 arms to use as a T azza (see photo). Note each arm is numbered 19, 20, 21. And 22; those same numbers are stamped underneath the base around each quadrant. This makes assembly a snap! The Epergne is in excellent condition with no plating loss, clean with a great original patina. And with all 5 original cut crystal bowls. Each crystal bowl is in really nice condition with no. A neat piece for American silverplate collectors it is a Epergne or a flower vase holder it was silver plated between 1886 to 1928 in Brooklyn NY. The very grand marks of castle, crown and prince-of-Wales feathers belongs to E. Webster and Son, of Brooklyn, New York, who were active from 1886 to 1928 under this name, though they continued on until the 1960s as “Webster-Wilcox”. I have a total of 5 pure silver vases, They have no markings but are thin and soft silver not plated that you see on it. They are chased with designs on the stems. The main part is plated and a lot of it has been polished off over the years might be a good candidate to get silver plated again. Or when it tarnishes again it will all match. The base is 5 1/2″ high with a 5″ base it is 8 high the way its photoed. The 5 silver vases weigh 3.8 oz. And base is 1 lbs 11 oz.
