An excellent example of a French art deco silver plated cocktail shaker, we have been unable to trace the maker. This 3 section shaker is extremely good quality, with a thick silver plating. Large Vintage Silver Plate Boston Cocktail Shaker. Art Deco Barware c1940

This very stylish vintage Boston shaker which is made of silver plate is a two piece beaker type shaker, has a decorative art deco style ring design around both halves. And is made by S. Hart & Co of Sheffield. Bartenders and professional mixologists use this type of cocktail shaker and this Boston shaker is a very nice heavy example in great condition which dates from the first half of the 20th century. Boston shakers are hard to find and this one is a quality vintage barware item that looks great on show and is also a usable bar accessory. Dimensions: 27 cm (10 1/2) High. 8 cm (3) Central Diameter. Condition: Excellent used condition with only light signs of use in keeping with age. Silver plate in very good condition with only very light surface scratches. Awesome little silverplated jigger by Napier, circa 1930, features an articulated handle and plunger that opens bottom of jigger when squeezed. Fill graduated jigger to desired level over glass, squeeze the handle and booze dispenses out the bottom. Item has a fairly heavy patina of tarnish but otherwise is in excellent working condition. 84 pc Silver Plated Canteen Cutlery Strathmore Cooper Bros NM Art Deco Vtg 1950s

A smashing 84 – piece set of silverplated cutlery in the Art Deco style Strathmore pattern, by Cooper Brothers of Sheffield. Contained in a red felt lined teak canteen, and dating to circa the 1950s. This stylish pattern was first introduced in the 1930s, which is why it is Deco in style, as it was so popular, the manufacture carried on for several decades. All pieces are in an excellent, minimally used condition – many were still wrapped in the original tissue. I have checked every piece, and can just find one tiny mark at the bottom of the bowl of a serving spoon! The knives have a few scratched marks to handles, but I suspect that this is due to them falling out of the lid of the canteen onto other cutlery. This set consists of 8 table knives, 8 table forks, 8 dessert knives, 8 dessert forks, 8 soup spoons, 8 dessert spoons, 4 serving spoons, 8 teaspoons, 8 coffee spoons, 8 fish knives and 8 fish forks. Table knives for example, measuring approximately 9 1/2 long. The stainless steel blades are etched as “COOPER BROS & SONS LTD SHEFFIELD ENGLAND STAINLESS”. Other utensils are marked underneath as “C BROS EP A1 ENGLAND”. Perfect as a wedding gift, and for use at a special occasion. Well-made flatware by a high-quality Sheffield Cutler. Please note that these items are stored in part of the house away from the rest of the family, I have no symptoms of the virus, and I wash my hands before packing anything – we are being very careful when we leave the house (rarely). After time spent in the post, items should not then be contaminated, even if they had been (which is unlikely). Made during the 1920’s, this Art Deco pendant illustrates a popular and classical design of jewelry during the era. With airy and delicate styling, this particular piece is unique for its larger, elongated shape that is accented with glass made to simulate aquamarine. Vintage ART DECO French Silver Plate Cocktail Shaker with Interior Ice Break. Shaker Stand 9 Tall. Silver Plate over Brass. Very clearly hallmarked, but I can not determine the maker. My favorite thing about this shaker is that it has a pair of bars, set perpendicularly to one another to break up the ice while the cocktail is being shaken. It is in very good condition, but has been polished enough that some of the brass is showing. It could be easily re-silvered and it would be worthwhile to do so.
