Lovely silver plated coffee or tea urn with removable top and warmer. Urn holds approximately sixteen 8-ounce cups of liquid. Measures approximately 20 1/2 inches tall with top on, 17 inches tall without top, 12 inches wide from outside of handle to outside of handle, and 3 1/2 inches tall for the top alone. All pieces have had initial silver polishing. From distance, urn is bright and shiny. But, up close, the “ghost” of tarnish marks continue to be evident (see photos). Urn may require professional polishing or supplemental silver plating. Urn has no hallmarks or means of manufacturing identification. Don’t know if warmer works. Probably the 1920’s era. I could find very little out about this using the internet. Looks to be copper on the inside with a glass liner. Outside may be nickle. It has some condition and wear issues. Vtg FB Rogers Silver Plate Lady Margaret Coffee Tea Service Set, Footed. Needs polishing and cleaning. Teapot – 7 1/4″ tall x 11″ x 5 1/2″ diameter Coffee Pot – 8″ tall x 11″ x 5 1/2″ diameter. Creamer – 4″ tall x 6 3/4″ x 4 1/2 diameter. Sugar Bowl – 6″ tall x 7 1/4″ x 4 1/2 diameter. Platter – 20 1/2″ long (not including handles) x 14 1/4″ wide. All pieces are footed. The handles and feet have a scroll-work design. The platter also has an etched scroll-work design. It needs polishing and cleaning. It also has some faint scratches. Six Piece Vintage Coffee Tea Tray Service Set Community Silver Melon Sheffield

This absolutely stunning vintage six piece Coffee Tea Tray Service set of Community Silver Melon Sheffield Reproduction belonged to my grandmother, only one owner, and it is in exquisite condition. She had this set covered in a tarnish proof cloth sitting on a buffet table undisturbed. It appears to have been for decorative purposes. Each of the 5 piece coffee, tea, cream, sugar, and bowl pieces appear to have never been used, they are in pristine condition. The front of the tray is in perfect condition, no scratches or dents of any kind. The back of the tray shows some normal vintage wear but it is insignificant and not visible. Included in this set is. 1 The serving service tray. This tray is very large and very heavy! Including the handles on each end it is 31 inches long and just over 18 inches wide. No monogram, no scratches, beautiful engraved scroll and pineapple type engravings on the bottom of the tray. 2 The coffee pitcher with hinge open attached lid. Perfect condition no scratches dents or marks. Stands almost 10 inches tall and is 10 inches wide from the handle to the spout. 3 The tea pitcher with hinge open attached lid. It stands almost 6 inches tall and is 11 1/2 inches wide from handle to spout. 4 The cream pitcher. Also perfect condition with no scratches dents or marks! This piece stands 4 inches tall and is 5 inches wide from handle to pouring spout. 5 The sugar bowl with removable lid. This piece is also in perfect condition with no scratches dents or marks! It stands 4 1/2 inches tall with the lid on and is 4 inches wide. Also in perfect condition with no scratches dents or marks! This bowl stands 4 inches tall at the highest point with the handles and is 6 inches wide from handle to handle. This beautiful Community Silver Melon Sheffield Design Reproduction Pattern features all pieces except the tray are on gorgeous decorative 4 corner footed bases. The bases have elegant scroll work and details. The lid on the pieces that have lids have a knob at the top that looks like an acorn sitting on a beautiful leaf patch. The handles on the coffee and tea pot have an elegant black design ring at the top and bottom of the handle. The top edges of the handles have an extended upward design and the spouts of the coffee and tea pots have elegant scroll design embellishments on each end. All pieces including the tray are engraved on the bottom Melon Sheffield Design Reproduction By Community. This is a gorgeous vintage set that would be beautiful in any setting. This would be especially wonderful for the upcoming holiday season. It will enhance and add elegance to any location or setting used. My grandmother enjoyed this set and set took excellent care of it. It it has ever been used it is not showing and signs of it! I hope this set finds its way to a hone that will enjoy it and will be as proud of it as my grandmother was! Does not the reflective mirror image, as the exterior indicates more of a matted (chased) finish. Buffing could possibly restore the finish to a mirror image if desired. Though and nevertheless, a most attractive appearance in it’s present condition! The sugar bowl is the only piece that has 2 very minute dark spots to the interior base (see photo #8). Though possibly only needs a light scrub. There are light small outward dings. To both sides of the coffee’s (tallest pot) mid section (see photo #10), though really not overly noticeable. Light areas of tarnish within the intricate crevices to the exteriors of all pieces, though a lovely contrast. (If desired, these tarnished areas can be removed with additional light polishing). Light scuffs & scratches all around due to years of use & age. Overall, this Set is Deemed to be in “Good to Very Good Vintage Condition” for It’s Age.
