This is an original 1928 Zeppelin cocktail shaker! There are a total of 20 pieces. I would like to start off by stating that the spoon holder is not the original spoon holder. It has had this spoon holder as long as i have owned it. I have seen one other like it, so perhaps it was a after though remake to the gondola. Other than the spoon holder, which works just fine, all the other pieces are original and stamped Germany on them. The set is in very good condition. There are the usual scratches and markings that come with age. There are no major dents. There are a couple of dimples on the top of the flask. Also, the strainer has one small stress crack on the side as shown in the next to last picture frame. The dome top has a few hairline stress cracks as shown in the last picture frame. However, they are hard to make out and cannot even be seen unless you are closely examining it. None of them effect the function at all… So, there are three pieces to the main body, the tail fin base, the middle section, and the dome. Then there is a flask, four shot glasses that fit on top of the flask, a strainer, and a lid to the strainer. Then there are two additional round shot glasses that fit into the tail fin with a funnel and a corkscrew. What is nice about the funnel and corkscrew is they also serve as a champagne glass! The insides of all the pieces have a gold wash finish. The insides are extremely clean on all pieces!!! This is an extremely hard shaker to find and highly collectable.
