Vintage Hermes designer plated cedar lined box – a rectangular cigarette box with a gilt reindeer head mounted to the centre of the hinged lid, lined with a sectioned cedar lining – originally intended for cigarettes but perfect for cufflinks, trinkets, keys or as a coffee table box. Marked for Hermes Paris Made in France – total weight 670grms – overall dimensions 190mm length x 120mm width x 27mm height without head, 80mm height with head – c. Very good condition with very light surface scratches from normal use to the plate, some tarnish, could be further polished if so desired. Gilding still intact to reindeer head. Cedar lining in good condition with one small crack to top right of inner lid as pictured – lining is perfectly stable and does not affect intended use but mentioned for accuracy.
