This handsome scalloped edge silver plated bowl on pedestal features richly detailed stag/deer heads with antlers on either side. 9 3/4high x 18 wide, including the handles. The bowls opening is 12 in diameter. It is imprinted on its pedestal with the makers mark. It has its original sticker on the bottom, stating that it is produced, by Wolff, that it is silver plate, and that it was manufactured in Brazil. There are many copies but this is the original, weighing 6 lbs. And very fine quality. It was used as a centerpiece on a dining table, holding a silk flower arrangement, which accounts for any minor scratches inside. It could also be used as a wine chiller or a punch bowl or as a centerpiece filled with pine cones on a cocktail table in your elegant mountain home. It is a timeless, elegant statement piece in great pre-owned condition with no dents or repairs. IMPRESSIVE EPERGNE CENTERPIECE – ALL ORIGINAL GLASS. For sale is an impressive vintage silver plate Epergne centerpiece Tazza with all 5 original. Bowls made by Israel Freeman & Son Ltd. The dimensions and details are as follows. EPERGNE – 8-3/4″ high by 21-1/2″ across by 6-1/2 footed base. EPERGNE AND BOWLS – 11-3/4″ high by 23-1/2″ across. TOTAL WEIGHT – around 19 Lbs. This Epergne is a classic Georgian design with lots of gadrooned edges; the square base has. The base has the hallmark for Israel Freeman & Son Ltd. Their mark and MADE IN. Note the arms are easily removed so that any combination (2 or 4) can be used. Or, remove all 4 arms to use as a T azza (see photo). Note each arm is numbered 19, 20, 21. And 22; those same numbers are stamped underneath the base around each quadrant. This makes assembly a snap!
