Rare Antique Stag Horn Handled Silver Plated Dessert Cutlery Set by Mappin & Webb Circa 1880s. Good solid condition, plating still bright, some marks, surface marks, rubs, signs of age and use. Antique Long Beaded Purse With Silver Plated Chain And Closure – hand beaded, two sided – one with a beautiful Peacock and the other blue and white scene with deer. Initials are embroidered on the inside lining (JH) and there is a small pocket on the interior lining – the button has come off but itbis inside the purse. There are a few spots where the silver plating has runbed off to reveal brass underneath. Suspected to be late 1800’s because of Victorian motifs. 13″ long from top of clasp to bottom of fringe, 7.5″ wide at the top and chain has a 6 drop to purse. Some of the stitching is loose at the top but there are not any holes visible. Vintage WOLFF Silver plate Stag Head Centerpiece Bowl

This handsome scalloped edge silver plated bowl on pedestal features richly detailed stag/deer heads with antlers on either side. 9 3/4high x 18 wide, including the handles. The bowls opening is 12 in diameter. It is imprinted on its pedestal with the makers mark. It has its original sticker on the bottom, stating that it is produced, by Wolff, that it is silver plate, and that it was manufactured in Brazil. There are many copies but this is the original, weighing 6 lbs. And very fine quality. It was used as a centerpiece on a dining table, holding a silk flower arrangement, which accounts for any minor scratches inside. It could also be used as a wine chiller or a punch bowl or as a centerpiece filled with pine cones on a cocktail table in your elegant mountain home. It is a timeless, elegant statement piece in great pre-owned condition with no dents or repairs. There are absolutely no dings, no dents, nor scratches to either of these fabulous pieces. An identifying mark “Gucci” is visible on one side at the left base of the stag’s neck, and the identifying mark “Italy” is visible in the same location on the opposite side.
