This was a 1930 Tokyo wedding gift for my mother-in-law and her high ranking diplomat husband Tomokazu Hori (google)It has never been used. My mother in law was the daughter of George Shima also known as the potato king. If you google him it is an interesting story of a Japanese immigrant to California in 1987. I will ensure the set when mailing. The item “Japanese Sterling SILVER Matsuya lotus shape bowl/plates/chopsticks vintage1930″ is in sale since Tuesday, January 23, 2018.
