Tea Set Birmingham Silver Co. (BSC) Coffee Service Silver on Copper Vintage Mid Century. This set is tarnished and will need polishing! The set includes coffee pot, teapot, waste pot, sugar bowl with lid and creamer. Each serving piece has handles (except for waste pot) and feet featuring scrolls of leaves. Topped with berry finials. An exceptional, full tea set/ coffee service from Birmingham Silver Co. Coffee measures approx 12″ tall x 12″ wide (handle to spout). Teapot 11″ tall x 11″ wide (handle to spout). Sugar approx 8″ tall x 8″ wide (handle to handle). Creamer approx 6″ tall x 7″ wide (handle to spout). Waste approx 5″ tall x 5″ wide. Marks: Makers mark for Birmingham Silver Co (crown with BSC) and silver on copper. Weight of this Tilt Pot w/Stand Set is 5 Pounds 10 Ounces Much More Beautiful than these Photos Portray! Good Vintage Condition Overall!! Though a lovely set indeed, there are a couple of issues. There is a small part of the handle (to the back side) that has been repaired. The repair is practically. Perfect except for the visible crack line (see photos #1 through #4). This repair is sturdy as a peg was. Inserted along with a powerful adhesive glue (made to weld engine part together). Tested for strength, holds the weight of this pot with liquid perfectly! The base of the pot has a slight bend, and wobbles a bit, though not overly much. The interior is clean, though there are light stains that can be scrubbed away with a light. Abrasive cleanser as Bon Ami (highly recommended). There is a slight shading in the silver plating to the. Upper parts of the pot body and to the base of the stand, though not overly noticeable, and probably. Needs additional polish (see photo #7). The burner pot is fully functional, and has a new cotton wick. Light scratches & scuffs all around due to use, age, and/or polishing. The burner pot, as mentioned, is missing the wick arm attachment. This tilt pot with stand was heavily tarnished, and all but some intricate areas have been polished away. The interior is clean, though there is silver plate loss where some copper is exposed. Please know that copper is not a contaminant, and is safe when applied to food service. Otherwise, there are light scratches & scuffs all around due to use, age, and/or polishing, though. Really not noticeable, and presents itself in an impressive display. Vintage Silver Plate Birmingham Silver Co Tipping Coffee Tea Water Pot Samovar

I believe the urn was made after 1940. This samovar is unique that it is able to tip forward or can be removed from the stand and rest on four legs on the table, the resting base, and the wick holder. The samovar stands 15″ tall by 9.5″ wide (from spout to handle). The bottom of tea pot is marked Silver on Copper, (crown) BSC Co. The samovar is in wonderful condition, hand polished and ready to use. I would not hesitate to drink coffee or tea from this samovar. Condition: Excellent Preowned Condition. Does not have a tray. It is in good condition but does need some light polishing/cleaning up. Please look closely at the pictures and feel free to ask any questions. I acquired this at an estate sale. I do not see any dents but I do see some tarnish areas. TILTING TEAPOT WITH STAND AND ALCOHOL BURNER – The teapot measures 12″ tall to top of handle x 9 1/2″ across including the spout. The stand measures 7 7/8″ tall x 6 1/2″ diameter base. The burner measures 3 1/8″ diameter x 4 1/4″ across with the knob x 2 1/4 tall. COFFEE POT – Measures 11 1/2″ tall x 11 3/4″ across with spout and handle. TEAPOT – Measures 10 1/2″ tall x 11 1/2″ across with spout and handle. CREAMER – 6″ tall without the handle x 6 1/2″ tall to the top of the handle x 6 1/2 across with spout and handle.
